Mar 31st 2011 6:16AM till dodge cap expertise is TWICE as good as hit. the rating/percent conversion is the same, at least it was in wrath, and that's for dodge and parry separately, since dodge and parry are rolled separately.
Mar 28th 2011 4:18AM lots of metal. I prefer newer stuff, and it sucks when I have to turn my music down because Im on teamspeak, which happens to be when we raid. i use music to give me a rush, downing an energy drink, and im a ball of keysmash.
Mar 21st 2011 8:31AM I probably have a bit of auditory overload. I keep game sound up, music on, and team speak running at all the same time, each running on surround sound speakers and set up to reflect that configuration. not counting the hundred addons I run, listening to everything in-game in surround sound gives me a much easier time. without sound it feels like im numb or def, its just not pleasant.
the sound of pulling aggro, the direction of a mob in relation to me, boss emotes, player casts, and lets not forget, hearing XT-002 minipet from half way across dalaran yelling "YOU'VE BEEN A BAD TOY, VERY BAD!" I guess it takes good hearing and good speakers to appreciate sound
Mar 10th 2011 11:01PM My guild uses Team Speak, and i personally think its fairly close to Mumble in many respects. It doesnt take a person experienced in complicated program terminology to figure out, has attenuation, decent quality (i'd say almost on par with Mumble), and a good voice activation sensitivity. its biggest drawback i think, for my own use, is the 3D mapping for users, I have to redo the mapping EVERY time someone new shows up, and it auto-assumes I dont want to map them in 3D.
I hate Ventrilo in almost every way.
Mumble I would be willing to switch too and probably not look back if we switched.
Jan 1st 2011 9:48AM I had to deal with ninja looters right as new years hit :/

Aug 8th 2010 7:07PM I was hacked twice 2 weeks apart from each other. The first time was my own fault just because i didnt have a virus scanner installed since i reinstalled windows, nor an authenticator. took a week to get back all my items, during which i was unable to raid. not long after, I was hacked again, (on my birthday no less!) through my authenticator. turns out I had a "man in the middle" keylogger on my computer that was new; it got into my curse client account. This time it took a month to even be able to log in, all thanks to blizzard's inability to keep track of help requests via email, and calling them via phone is a joke. It took me making a trial account and putting in a ticket to get a rather fast response, compared to the other forms. this time i lost things blizz was unable to restore. including all my stocked up primordial saronite i was saving for shadows edge, all my emblems, and profession items/raiding materials.
if you do get hacked, make sure it dosnt happen again or blizz will shove you in the trash bin.
