WoW Insider reviews The Shattering: Prelude to Cataclysm by Christie Golden {WoW}

Oct 19th 2010 1:09AM I love Christie's book and I will most likely get this one as well. I tried 1 book once of Knaak...

Let's just say it failed hard. Not because He is a bad writer, I don't really know, but the way he writes his story's (in old English maybe?) is very hard for me to read as a non-native English reader.

Christie writes her story's in normal good to understand English but Knaak takes the difficult English road. I had a hard time trying to understand the lines he wrote and that is never a good thing.

Gold Capped: Patch 4.0.1 fallout for cooldowns, addons and glyphs {WoW}

Oct 15th 2010 2:56AM I am currently not buying anything at all from the AH. I'll just wait till the dust has settled. Besides, no need to gem your gear unless its super cheap. IMO anyway. 85 is the new endgame :)

But thanks for the mining reminder. Time to see how much it is worth on my realm so I can get some G as well.

Breakfast Topic: When a character just doesn't click {WoW}

Jul 22nd 2010 9:10AM I am going to force myself to level my 60 warrior (which only is 60 because of RAF and a second account boosting etc.) to 80.

At the moment I have this idea that warriors suck and the rage mechanic is even worse, but I am 60 and got crap, AH bought gear.

I am thinking, that if I do dungeons and quests and get appropriate gear, warriors will become fun.

I always liked seeing warriors in videos and seems like a fun class. And the premade warriors where cool as well, so I think I just gotta stick through it.

So that is my long painful road I have to take.

Any tips for a newb arms warriors? I read the arms 101 BTW.

What I find confusing is the stances and the fact you only have 1 actionbar that changes when you switch stances, and spells that work on multiple stances...

I am overcrowded with buttons!!!!

My armory if it is useful:

Breakfast Topic: I just bought a $25 imaginary horse {WoW}

Apr 19th 2010 8:40AM I find 25$ to much for a simple mount. I did bought the mount though, but that is because I work full time and I am still living at my parents house for the time being so I could miss it. And let us not forget the mount looks pretty damn awesome.

But 25$ is the price of a half game, and paying that much for just a mount its actually to much. But the items on the store ARE optional, so they can ask whatever price they want.

That is the downside of the optional part. They can make it expensive and we can't whine about the price because, if it's too much, then don't buy it right?

Anyway, I don't expect myself doing another purchase. 25$ is 2 months worth of wow time and paying that much for a mount and paying for a subscription is actually ripping of customers.

But again, we cant complain, because its OPTIONAL...

Apr 15th 2010 5:16PM And again, us in Europe, are getting the shaft on another contest.

What good is a contest if a lot of players cant participate in it? Are you people in the US really so self-centric?

Breakfast Topic: Using "IRL," IRL {WoW}

Apr 14th 2010 9:02AM I never use any PC terms in real life. It just sounds weird and it also wouldn't work. Most people probably will know what I mean, but using things like that in real life is clearly a sign of; "I spend to much time on my digital devices".

IMO off course.
