Seriously I hope some horde racial buff are on the way, something like the draeneei OP hit aura would be nice.

Dec 14th 2010 1:46PM Only problem with that is it would severely nerf shaman, who are already the worse healer in cata (well maybe behind disc, but those guy should be holy anyway). I think we should get the same mastery as holy priest have, would fix our lack of hot problem, or maybe something that as a chance of leaving one stack of earth shield on every healed target (wouldn't remove our current ES)

Nov 29th 2010 12:28PM Anyone got a list of all the new 5 man for cata and were they are, I figured were gonna be burning trough level and skipping zone, but I don't want to skip activating 5 man zone, plus if there's phasing involved and such.

Oct 6th 2010 5:27PM Total moron ration doesn't work that way, if on average you get 1 TMR in 10 man then on average youll get 2.5 in 25 man, in other word you have 50% chance that you have a higher TM ration in 25 man than 10 man aka its harder. Also since you can lose the fight because of 1 TM in both 10 and 25 man (you lose 1 dps and fall 1% short of the enrage timer) this make 25 man harder since there's more dps (1 dps on 6 failing less likely than 1 on 16 failing). They could change it so that the enrage timer aren't so strict but then you,re removing challenge which remove satisfaction which remove fun.
Also WTF do I care about reaching my emblem cap faster, wether I reach it tuesday or monday is irrelevant in the long run, so this is barely a + for 25 man, as someone said it the time sink to organize could be used to run a 25 man Heroic instead. It all come down to number of loot drop, anything short of 7:2 for 25 man and its not worth it.

Jun 21st 2010 2:45PM Now we have a classic example of a pretty deep problem, my original comment is currently getting down ranked because it goes against the general opinion of the people reading this article, not because there's no argumentation in it or it's inappropriate, but because it's different (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQqq3e03EBQ is a good example). While people who are going with the general flow are getting promoted, even thought some have no argument.
Now this is a problem since if someone was to read the comment section to have a general view of the current opinion, but wouldn't read the gray out comment thinking they were inappropriate, they would think that 100% of reader think this article is wrong. Lets not forget that sometime the minority is right, when people started saying the earth was round, the church threaten them even thought they were right.

Jun 21st 2010 2:16PM I'd rather miss out on stuff I'll never use for stuff I never use for better stuff I use all the time. It's also like normal class talent tree, if blizzard gave everybody all the talent in the tree, there would be no specialization, I find that boring. Saying yu dont like guild talent tree is akin to saying theres should be no class talent tree, heck that there should be no class, since its more convenient for you to be able to access everything anytime.

Jun 21st 2010 2:10PM I agree 100%, furthermore if the talent system was still used, it would allow for better perk, lets say instead of having 5% increase rep for PvP and 5% increase rep for PvE, you could instead have 10% for one or the other with talent since it would be more specialized. Overall I feel like blizzard is just trying to cut the amount of staff they need to run WoW during the cata expansion even more.

Cataclysm raid progression refinements {WoW}

Apr 26th 2010 2:12PM I like all the change except the sharing lockout period. I like to raiding in 10 man and I like raiding in 25 man, and I like to do both of these on the same toon. Why should I have to choose?

From the comment I see a lot of people saying they don't feel like there's the pressure of running 10 and 25 man every week, there is no pressure, you're putting the pressure on yourself, basically what you're saying is you want to be able to work 10 hour a week and have the same life as someone working 40 hour a week. I like being rewarded for raiding a lot. Now if they had different lockout, I could gear up much faster and could access heroic mode that much faster which would be my "reward" but the casual could still feel like there on the same level as elitist player (I do realize that this sentence alone will make my comment be bashed to death, but oh well).

IMO, blizzard should go back to having some exclusively 25 man raid on some 10 man raid, even if they do drop same level of gear. Making both 10 and 25 just as easy is impossible unless you remove all the ability like defile, were one person mistake can screw an entire raid. If they do that, 25 man will become a joke and remove most of the feeling of accomplishment. Overall I just feel like blizzard is lowering the bar so that there's a cap and that even casual gamer can feel like there as good as hardcore.

Apr 14th 2010 3:20PM I remember a few weeks (months?) ago WoW.com release a list of blog that discuss different class and spec, at the time I forgot to bookmark the page, and now that I need it, I'm incapable of retrieving it, anyone know were it is, or under what section it was posted?

I try to read the elitist jerk website, but its so not user friendly, having to go trough thousand of forum page just to get to the current patch information...
