Mar 22nd 2012 12:34AM Scribes must know: Does anyone know where to get the information on what inks go into making these new glyphs?
Mar 15th 2012 10:05PM This! I think it is safe to say in spite of the loot drama raid finder has been a success. RF Firelands etc would give bunches of "new to them" content. With overhearing such as it is maybe not even have to nerf the content, just extend the RF to include them.
Mar 9th 2012 6:59PM To add to my post, I found an old wowhead article on it. the blue quote is as follows:
"This year marks the fifth anniversary of the launch of World of Warcraft on November 23, 2004 -- and to kick off the celebration, every week for the next five weeks, we'll be giving out prizes to players as a way to "thanks" for being a part of the World of Warcraft community these past five years. Each week, we'll randomly select winners from a different group of accounts based on how long they’ve been playing the game. ......"
So, while this isn't exactly what you folks are asking for, they have rewarded people in the past based on how long they have been subscribed.
Mar 9th 2012 6:52PM I vaguely recall a contest or promotion when Blizz gave away stuff to random subscribers based on how long they have been subscribed. I've done some searching but can't find the info on it. Does anyone remember this?
Mar 6th 2012 9:27PM I've seen a lot of "what about continued loyal subscribers?" comments, well....
1. Companies are always offering incentives to get new customers, low rates, bonuses etc. Also they try and get previous customers to return again with similar gimmicks. It's the way business is done.
2. If you are a "continued loyal subscriber" then you should already have your new charger mount, FREE copy of Diablo III (when it's released) and MoP beta access (when it starts).
TLDR: 1. This is good business. 2. If you sub for a year you are already getting cool stuff. Stop the QQ please :)
Mar 5th 2012 12:56PM When my 85 priest was farming scarlet monastery for transmog pieces I got half a dozen of the crystals for the darkmoon fair. That hardly seemed level appropriate but it happened.
Maybe the drops happen based on the level of the dungeon and have little to do with with who is actually in the instance at that time?
Mar 5th 2012 12:47PM How will the stat squish affect our overpowered ability to go complete old raids by ourselves?
My main pays her respects every week to the hunstsman in Kara every week hoping to get his mount. Will I have to find a few of my friends to go with me after the squish because I've been nerfed relative to that content?
Mar 5th 2012 12:35PM It is just a minor nongamebreaking thing but…
This is loss of data, what if it was your ulduar drake that the game forgot you earned? This continual loss of saved progress is making me nervous.
Mar 2nd 2012 7:15PM Big Winner: Gamon, he got to level 85 before the rest of us.
Mar 2nd 2012 12:55PM Hi and welcome back.
I'm not going to repeat what others have said but just to add encouragement. My baby rogue hit 85 recently and three days later she killed deathwing in raid finder and now wields an axe as her trophy from that victory. Follow the advice given here, getting the required ilevel seems a daunting task but with the current structure of quests and jp rewards gearing up to current content is quite quick although maybe not painless
