Feb 3rd 2012 5:50PM While I don't believe that anybody should be sued over this, there's a large flaw in your article. The use for the WoW image in this instance is not Luotian's does not follow Blizzard's comment, "grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non- assignable license to use and display, for home, noncommercial and personal use only..."
Luotian is not personally using the image, and he is trying to transfer the license to somebody else (the bake shop). The bake shop is then using the image in a commercial fashion (i.e. selling you a cake with the WoW image on it).
The only way to get around this would be for Luotian to make the cake him/herself. THAT would be personal/non-commercial.
Jan 31st 2012 10:19AM The article made one point that I found quite interesting..
"There's no USDA certfied organic designation for Whiptail, no Fair Trade certification for Elementium"
The interesting part... Why not?
What would it take for Blizzard to implement a "certified toon" designation for the AH - even a button we could click in the AH interface so that we only search auctions of those certified toons. Problem would be account hacking an account which is 'certified', however if Blizzard makes an authenticator mandatory for a certification, then that will greatly cut back on that...
It still won't stop it, but if enough players click the 'search certified toons only' button, then maybe it would be discouraging for the sellers....
Jan 24th 2012 5:00PM Yes please, send this article over to the Lichborne writers and have them convert it for Blood DKs....
Not because I've had any particularly bad experiences, but because I'm a relatively new DK tank...
Jan 11th 2012 11:50AM So another Q today...
With the rumored graphics upgrades in MoP, and the new 64 bit client confirmed, am I going to be in need of an upgrade to my 2 year old already not-stellar laptop?
Jan 10th 2012 11:55AM A Question/Thought...
Blizzard is trying to eliminate gearing issues every patch it seems. The recent LFR change (can only win 1 out of a pair of items each boss) is a nice change, as I've seen people win multiple tokens multiple times now.
What about, NO loot off each boss, but instead at the end of a Dungeon/Raid, giving everyone in the group a goodie bag. Each bag would be based on your spec and each dungeon would have a different loot table, they might contain anything from 50 gold, a rare mount, or a new chest or weapon.
This would eliminate the loot ninjas, loot traders, etc. I simply can't see a problem.

Sep 2nd 2010 9:39AM Hmm... Interested in the Blessings...
We've now got Blessing of Kings, which is +stat and Resistance. As well as Blessing of Might, which adds AP and MP5. As per the descriptions, they are raid/party wide, and only 1 can be cast per Paladin at any time...
Soooooo.... Do I appease the DPS, Healers, and myself and cast Might - or give the Tank Kings?
If there's 2+ Paladins in the group, it doesn't matter, but in 5-mans, I'm constantly the only Pally around.... not sure how I feel about this one. Thoughts?
Jul 20th 2010 5:46PM Alrighty - thought this would be a good as place as any to ask this:
A UI/Threat Question - from a DPSer.
I'm a newly crowned 80 Retadin, and as I take my first steps into heroic content, i realize that threat/aggro is 1000x more important than in regular 5-mans.
I have Skada set up at the moment, to monitor threat, however, my problem is, that it only monitors threat from the targeted mob. Is there a way to set it up (or a diff. addon) which can warn me when I'm pulling aggro from something I haven't targeted, but am hitting with AoE (divine storm, consecrate, etc.)?
How do other folks here deal with their threat monitoring?
