Addon Spotlight: A very mailbag episode {WoW}

Aug 12th 2011 10:56AM If you're getting rid of Carbonite because it's a resource hog, don't replace it with Altoholic, another NOTORIOUS resource hog. Try Posessions instead! Much lighter, does pretty much the same thing.

Breakfast Topic: Do you have any specialty alts? {WoW}

Jul 25th 2011 9:32AM I have not once... not twice... but three times leveled a healer entirely by the dungeon finder. :)

What? I like healers.

Number four is a resto druid, currently 76.

Totem Talk: Why enhancement hates haste {WoW}

Jun 26th 2011 3:03PM Yes, and don't forget the hole scaling problem. Darn holes, never the right size!

Breakfast Topic: Any other new 85s in the house? {WoW}

May 28th 2011 3:53PM Some people would like to use the journey from 1-85 to actually learn their class, not just to race to endgame as fast as humanly possible.

Is there really no concept of this in the wider playerbase? :(

Officers' Quarters: When raiders hold your guild hostage {WoW}

May 10th 2011 2:14AM @Jestin

"It's safe to say that guilds and players that haven't downed normal Cho, Nef or Al'Akir likely won't until the next tier of raiding comes out. "

You're so right, no sweeping generalizations here! How self righteous of me not to read more carefully! *roll eyes*

Officers' Quarters: When raiders hold your guild hostage {WoW}

Elitist much? Plenty of guilds are still working through normal stuff, and will doubtless kill end bosses before 4.2. Some of us take our time.

Officers' Quarters: When raiders hold your guild hostage {WoW}

May 9th 2011 7:08PM 'This situation tends to spiral, as players figure out that they can flaunt the rules without consequence."

FYI, the word you're looking for here is FLOUT.

Totem Talk: Shaman healing Q&A {WoW}

Mar 23rd 2011 5:42PM Take a point from acuity if you have it? The value of crit is on the way down.

Ready Check: Run speed is nearly a requirement {WoW}

Mar 11th 2011 2:55PM You forgot: good player + run speed enchant = better performance.

Hrm. Is it just me or does intentionally opting for NOT better performance kinda take something away from the whole "good player" argument?

Ready Check: Run speed is nearly a requirement {WoW}

Mar 11th 2011 2:51PM "Shaman can spec for Ancestral Swiftness, for example. If you already have a run speed talent, then you can probably skip getting an enchant for your boots."

Probably? The tooltip says right in it that Ancestral Swiftness does not stack with other movement speed increasing effects. If you have Ancestral Swiftness AND a boot speed enchant, you've made a bad bad choice. Lavawalker offers 35 mastery + run speed, Enchant Boot Mastery offers 50 mastery and it's much cheaper.
