Sep 18th 2010 7:06PM This makes a lot of sense from a werewolf point of view, but not by comparison to the tauren. It also clears out the developmental hell that was "what can a man, and a wolfman ride?", I mean, you can't just use a horse, it's unrealistic because the thing would go apeshit if a wolf got on it's back!
Aug 26th 2010 5:26PM Not mad at all! It's nice to see other's views on a subject. I love the multi-faceted part of it too, but for me there's a definite seperation; if you're raiding, on goes the raid hat, and every other thing is ignored until the boss is dead; if you're just rolling through a log in session, then it's easy to switch off and farm cobalt ore..
Aug 25th 2010 7:39PM So far everyone who dislikes the change has been gunning towards "Chain running heroics will now be hard without Volley. How else am I going to get phat lootz?" Well, if you wanted to make the game easy on yourselves, fair enough, but from a raiding perspective, volley wasn't that useful albeit for quickly mopping up some aggro, and even then that is a minor occurrence provided the tank and off tank were on task. From a PVP view, it was all about stealth breaking, and I'm not able to talk about that much from lack of experience, but I'm sure there'll be a new way of doing it.
Cap it all off, Blizzard is changing the game so you have to concentrate and think. Man, I missed that part of video games, it'll be nice to switch from mindless grind to edge of the seat concentration. Me personally, I'd like to see Multi Shot be adapted from a three arrows in a V formation, to more of a longbow approach - that cloud of arrows falling from the sky has been an evocative image in so many films, that it seems to just fit! And for those with guns, hell, just pretend it's a mortar launcher, and clip on a WHUMPPPH macro
