Blizzard blog explains how to send or receive a Scroll of Resurrection {WoW}

Apr 3rd 2012 7:01PM I got one a couple of days ago. Didn't recognize the person, going the extra inch to look them on armory. Never been on their server, and have always been a horde character, never alliance.

Mists of Pandaria Beta: New icons make questing a breeze {WoW}

Mar 30th 2012 1:10PM Can't say I ever had this problem with things that were stationary. Maybe a long time ago in TBC or vanilla, where Blizzard loved to have NPCs that patrolled a wide area or an entire zone (you know who).

The only time I've had problems finding anything quest related is leveling my alt through howling fjord, trying to find the two named worgs for the worg in the cave.

BlizzPlanet goes to Toy Fair 2012 in New York {WoW}

Feb 14th 2012 8:43PM "Alright 11! One..two--"

"FROST NOVA!"

"DAMNIT STEVE!"

Paragon: We're sorry we cheated {WoW}

Dec 6th 2011 1:09PM This is less of an apology and more of a, "We REALLY like being sponsored...."

Drama Mamas: When "just friends" intrudes on love {WoW}

Nov 14th 2011 4:08PM Did any of your friends ever offer to drive 8+ hours to drive to meet you?

And Old guy doesn't need to love her to want to have sex with her.

Drama Mamas: When "just friends" intrudes on love {WoW}

Nov 14th 2011 2:22PM "Warning: Your girlfriend may at some point admit to having an online affair with Older Guy"

2~ Years of friendship
Constant chatting in game and out
24 hour traveling (back and forth)
She's a girl, not a woman.
Older guy knows what he wants and what it's worth to drive 24 hours for it.

I'd say you were right on the "May have" on the first visit. Seeing how Older guy has been down twice now, I really would not be surprised if there has been fooling around going on.

Arcane Brilliance: A preliminary look at the Pandaria talent tree for mages {WoW}

Oct 29th 2011 3:23PM As someone who only plays PvE, the mage tree has a few "PvE Friendly" talents, making the choice seem more like an illusion.

Ring of Frost was mostly useless (Except for 1 heroic fight I can think of) as any damage dealt to anything hit by it breaks it out, and there's no snare after the fact. CoC is a bit too "danger close" for my tastes. Obviously this is more about group compisition, and what/how many your trying to snare, but I'm never in a raid where lack of snares are a problem. Frostjaw might be iffy, but compared to the other two, I'd probably choose frostjaw.

The next tier is even worse of a choice. If I had a choice to be able to only erase DoTs every 3 minutes, assuming a fight had DoTs, and not just orbs that hit you every X second, or something that can save me from any damaging attack, regardless what it's from... I'd go with Cauterize.

I'm curious how you connected min-maxing to WE, as it rarely dies to begin with (and will probably have the same survivability in MoP), and that also would be under the assumption that Frost is a competitive spec through MoP.

I could continue, but really I'd just end up repeating myself what I already said on the WoW forums. The short of it is again, a lack of choice and a lack of creativity. None of them really say, "Wow! I'd love to have that in my spellbook.....again".

On a side note, that's also a problem - few passives. While they said they want to clean up the spellbook and hotbars, 4 of the 6 tiers have spells/CDs that you put on your hotbars (5 if you don't take cauterize)! Most of them (in PvE) I probably won't use! That's not helpful!

Breakfast Topic: How do you deal with self-entitled puggers? {WoW}

Aug 9th 2011 9:13AM I've been "If you go in, I won't heal you" guy on my alts, but only in (H-)HoO because I know, even if someone says, "We'll do the other bosses after the fire boss", if someone leaves, then I'm going to have to sit though another que/group. It's happened before, and we're there already... I don't see what the big deal is, I would do it for someone else in the group too.

Drama Mamas: How to rein in a rules lawyer {WoW}

Aug 8th 2011 4:04PM You'd think if you have to explain your plight in 4 paragraphs with one minute redeeming line of, "He's helpful in the profession area", the answer wouldn't be T-bagging you right in the face.

This is one of those, " I'm not used to being/don't want to be the 'bad guy'. " problems. Even if you are completely justified and you have people to back you up, someone is going to need to be the 'bad guy', which is just the person making a firm decision.

I don't really see this as a, "How do I go about this?" type of problem. Seems more like a, "How do I go out of my way to be nice about a situation so I absolutely don't get any heat?" which is just a part of life.
