Jun 20th 2010 7:16PM Un-used mana is wasted healing potential.
If you're not two-healing encounters in a 10man, and still have mana over, consider re-gearing for more throughput and run with one less healer. Hell, a large portion of 10man content can even be solo healed (by a paladin).

..."Expertise soft cap"... "Hit cap".
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.
May 28th 2010 10:02AM Priests are still competitive if played correctly.
1) Healing meters are not the be-all and end-all of healing.
2) It's still possible to compete with holydins, as given by these WoL Reports from last night.
Council try 3 onwards (It had been a while).

May 21st 2010 5:51AM You assume people will actually take the time to read this column. I'd say it's probable that the majority of players in need of such advice are very rarely the ones who read it.
For those that do we can assume already have "at least have a basic understanding of the thought processes that healing and raid leads go through".
May 20th 2010 6:08PM Not useful.
Your post is targeted at a small sub-sect of the healing population, those specific leads within guilds that are actively raiding with a decent structure in place. The players in those positions are normally well aware of their responsibilities, and/or are unqualified for such a role if they are already serving in that capacity without knowing this information.
This leaves the remainder of people who can directly benefit from this post as "aspiring healing leads." - Presumably not a large portion of the population.
May 16th 2010 3:27PM I don't know about you, but as a new player, I would much prefer to experience ALL of the endgame raiding - not just the current tier.
as an alt, well, I'd much rather run Naxxramas or Ulduar than venture into icecrown... again.
Regarding "dragging people through older content"
This isn't any more true than it is now, Guilds would still run the previous tier in order to gear up (How many guilds stopped TOC/TOGC farming when ICC first came out?)
In short, my point is as follows.
1) People feel the content is stale.
2) There is "useless" content sitting around that could easily not have been thrown away.
