May 24th 2011 8:51AM I'd like to see variants on cat forms, with tiger stripes, leopard spots, etc. You'd keep your normal coloring from your hair, but would in addition, have stripes or spots that would stand out from your fur color. If you have a dark color fur, they'd be a lighter color, and vice-versa. Troll forms would look even further technicolor.
Dec 6th 2010 9:48PM Lets give it a shot.
Nov 2nd 2010 3:40AM I think it could be interesting setting Lava Burst to work with Enhance, though on a separate proc system from Lightning Bolt. I know I'm a recent Enhance Shammy Alt (started up somewhere between 3.3.3 & 3.3.5), but I've seen those lonesome spots in my rotation where I just MW'd, Shock'd & LL'd, blasted that 4 or 5-MW'd Lightning Bolt, and now have 4 or so Sec to kill before something comes off CD, or toss out a non-MW'd Bolt.
Odd thought, but maybe:
MW affects as current (Lightning, Heals, Hex)
have Flame Shock/Searing Totem hits stack similar to MW (though maybe a 3 or 4 stack would get 100% reduction), and have it affect Lava Burst
We could keep the standard shock rotation (FS,ES,FS,ES repeat) or FS every shock CD to stack it. Either that, or it charges Lava Burst to hit with an AoE effect (so MW could Bolt or Chain, FS could Burst or AoE).
Then again, I'm probably not thinking of this from a "true" Enhance side. I keep thinking we have little in the way of AoE, but then again, dropping Magma or Fire Elemental in the middle of mobs will allow for Novas, and this is all just pipe dreams coming from a Feral Cat main's "hey, lotsa mobs, swipe's available, smack em all" philosophy. I mean, after Swiping a pack of those Geists that pop from traps for 30k dps from Swipe spam, I feel pretty deflated Chain Lightning-ing them.
Oct 7th 2010 4:30PM Is there any word on if specific classes will start out at friendly? Specifically, Shamans & Earthen Ring (it kinda seems to fit). I know Death Knights start out at least friendly with Knights of the Ebon Blade (pretty fitting), and for some reason I thought Druids started out Friendly w/Cenarion Circle (but I may just be completely off on that part; it may have just been early Druid quests that gave me that boost).
Jun 9th 2010 10:27PM With a feral druid as my main (cat/bear), I really like the new feral tree. Still only need a few points in Resto, and the rest can go into shiny new feral talents. I'd love to see Om Nom Nom as the final name as well, and Pulverize: Bears is can haz damage? And once more, ferals have zero reason at all to look at the balance tree. I'm not sure, but that kinda makes me glad. No clue on priest/rogue/shammy changes though, since I either haven't got into the class (priest/rogue) or are just starting out on it (shammy).
Jun 5th 2010 9:50PM I know about ARL. I use it frequently, and used its Text Dump feature to kick-start my lists. WowHead's Client also aids in this, with the simple "know it/don't know it" headings, essentially. Plus, Having an Excel sheet lets me know if there are BoE recipes I can buy on my main to send to an alt (say the adamantite stuff in BC to a BS alt who just hit 50 and can now make them but is nowhere near powerful enough to trudge through BC to get them).
Jun 5th 2010 9:14AM I regularly keep either text, doc, or excel files for all sorts of stuff (originally had an excel file with all the quests, who to talk to, where to go, etc, but then 3.3 hit and it went out the window). Currently, I'm running an excel file on my missing recipes (who/what/where/how), a doc file on my planned specs/glyphs, and a text file on just what I'll need to do to get my toons maxed with the factions necessary for their professions (given that my main is my Achievement toon, this truly sucks, because I'll have to grind out Thorium Brotherhood [two to revered, one to exalted] & Cenarion Circle [one to revered, two to exalted], not to mention all the raid factions as well). I also have a text file on what dungeon drops to look for on my DK (for tank & DPS specs), which kind of works for my prot pally too.
May 31st 2010 7:51PM The guild seriously freaked out on this. I mean, I'm fine with giving nice enchants away for free to guildies (not enough to drain my supply of mats though, the odd re-enchanting of Super Stats or a nice weapon enchant here of there), and while I'd probably think twice about dumping 1k worth of mats and/or an item that would sell for 1k on the AH or in trade to a guildy, anything past that? Yeah, its getting sold. A guildy would get a discount on it, sure, so long as they asked. I can't exactly discount something that went on the AH.
With ICC & the Frostwing Halls, we've got a couple handfuls of awesome, mostly-BiS type gear that is BoE (Hilt, all the ilvl 264 stuff in ICC). And if I did wind up with an ICC BoE that I didn't have an immediate use for, I'd offer to sell it in Guild for a discount, then if I got no takers, off to the AH. I could see the original guild-in-question getting hot and bothered about doing that though. On my server, the Hilt typically doesn't even drop down to 10k, but the BoEs are still running pretty high prices, 12k up to 20k for some (damn you Wodin's Necklace; sell or keep for a current BiS neck?).
