Jul 5th 2010 3:06PM Another tallent that is a little lower in the Marksman tree that I have not seen mentioned and seams to be just atainable with the extra talent points is sic 'em!
When you critically hit with your Arcane Shot, Kill Command, Aimed Shot or Explosive Shot the focus cost of your Pet's next 2 basic attacks are reduced by [100%/50%] for 12 sec.
At least according to the mmo-champion hunter tallent tree preview. So that and there has been no word on if pets will regain extra focus with some of the haste they will be getting from us means that focus should not be too much of a problem for pets if everything works out ok.
One more thing not quite related to note form the tallent trees that I noticed. It looks like, after your main spec, you might have enough points left over to get either frenzy, and fervor (insta 50 focus for you and your pet) from bm, aimed shot (2 sec cast 50 focus ZOMG damage) and sic 'em! (see above) from mm or imp serpent sting (insta damage added to its effect) and lock and load (free arcane shots) from sv. All this seams to add up to a LOT of intersting synergy working between each of the trees and could make for a LOT of different raiding builds to play around with.
Jun 29th 2010 11:37AM Well, from what I heard, they had 3 hunters for their mis-directs, and everyone did things to reduce their threat, like rogues doing tricks of the trade onto the hunters during md, so they can give the threat to the pet tank or fd to get rid of it. Also once the third phase starts you are spending more time hiding behind people so you are not generating as much threat.

The advantage of tankspot being that you can see the encounters as well as hearing what you need to do, while bosskillers gives a little bit more information on the abilities and what everyone should be doing for them.

May 17th 2010 12:41PM It is round, you can see the whole thing in as a shpere in the halls of lightning and floating above black temple, however I am not sure if they will allow you to fly between the continents. The Devs might just leave the fatigue thing in place to prevent you from trying that.
May 6th 2010 3:52PM There are 3 ways to answer that, first one way that you can tell on the simpplest level, is if your steady shot does more damage than your arcane shot then you should probablly switch to steady. If it is close, then you can use a spreadsheet like www.femaledwarf.com to tell when steady shot starts to give more dps than arcane shot. I think the genral rule of thumb is around 400 ArP.
Also rember that you should still keep arcane in easy reach because if only because its an instant you can use whenever.
