Feb 21st 2011 12:40PM Mom's a half-orc, half-draenei. Dad's a human.
50% human, 25% orc, 25% draenei. Sorry, I'm like a grammar nazi, but with math.
Feb 20th 2011 11:31PM Google Image Search, I believe. Go ahead, I dare you.
Jan 21st 2011 10:25AM IIRC, Chris is the guy who the "I'm good at detecting these things" meme originated from. Just thought I'd throw that out there...
Dec 16th 2010 11:37AM Chinchilla Mini-Map has a built-in coordinate display that you can overlay onto your mini-map.
Oct 28th 2010 12:05PM I believe I read that the OS mounts will not change their drop mechanics.
Oct 26th 2010 8:25AM I had a paladin. He was a healer in Karazhan. But I decided I wanted to tank, and to have professions that befitted a tank best. And I wanted that tank to be a paladin...but I didn't want to have to respec every time I changed roles. So I made a second paladin. This was before you little whippersnappers had your dual spec GODMODE. Back in my day, we had one of every spec and we liked it.
Seriously though. Now one paladin's gathering dust while the other one's only just becoming dusty, as during BC, I also leveled an enhancement shaman. Let's face facts here. Enhancement is better than everything else (save warlocks and sub rogues) when it comes to gameplay fun. So now I've got an enhancy main. And a rogue main. And like 5 alts.
Oct 22nd 2010 10:00AM "She's already really jealous that I spend time in WoW and not her..."
OMG change your prepositions, unless you meant it that way.
On topic though, my wife is the same way, especially when we were in a long-distance relationship. This is a big reason why she started playing in the first place. Any flirtatious women drove her absolutely bonkers. It's not as bad now that we're married and she can see for herself that their flirting has zero effect on me.
Oct 21st 2010 9:01AM The questline is a feat of strength now. If you've completed it, I believe you'll get the Feat of Strength when 4.0.3 is released, but I'm not completely sure of that, only sure that it will become a FOS.
Oct 21st 2010 8:59AM Two moments really stand out for me.
1) The old Onyxia attunement quest where you march through the city with Marshal Windsor. I started playing in BC and had seen this happen once at a low level. When I got to the appropriate level, I went through the quest chain with my friends (it was so annoying and very long to do back then), who had no idea why I was so hell-bent on completing this chain as they hadn't done this either. By the time we were meeting Windsor at the gates of Stormwind, they were excited. Needless to say, the end event in Stormwind Keep was nothing short of amazing for all of us.
2) I wasn't at the point in my WoW career where I was reading MMO-Champion and WoW Insider every day, so I had no idea about the Wrathgate. When the screen went black I thought my game had crashed. The ensuing cinematic was both exhilarating and saddening as I had become so fond of Bolvar after the events of the previous paragraph. This was the point for me where WoW went from being a fun game to an absolutely amazing way to tell a story.
