Oct 22nd 2007 9:18AM Full frost for a mage is very doable. I used to dump everything in frost back when I was still leveling.
It just seemed right.
Aug 24th 2007 4:02PM I'm not ussually one who says this, but Druids are a hybrid class, and shouldn't beable to do everything like this is asking for.
Feral can tank and DPS. Not the best, but decent. That's a combo no other class has. Being ablt to tank and switch to DPS in a moment is amazing.
Resto is a bit weak with soloing, but what holy spec isn't? I can understand that holy pally DPS is better, but only in comparison to their other trees, which doesn't say much.
Balance is decent DPS, but you get the armor bonus, so you can take hits. Plus they have a root.
IMO, druids are the best hybrid class in this game, and really have very little room to be complaining. People need to realize that by getting the flexability, you will need to give up other aspects.
Aug 23rd 2007 3:57PM How could anyone actually say it was a case of parallel thinking? There are more than a few things that are the exact graphic from worldofwarcraft.com, just recolored. In some cases, they didn't even recolor.
Apr 26th 2007 12:53PM I have to say, this game is so based for raiding guilds, it's really pushing a bit part of their fan base away. If you don't have the time to get into a raiding guild and raid the end game stuff, then you're pretty much done with the game once you hit 70.
I understand that the drops would be too crazy if everyone could pug to tier 6, but I was under the impression that's why they put heroic mode on places.
Warhammer is looking better and better everyday just because it'll be new stuff that I can actually get to.
Apr 19th 2007 1:24PM Locks got pretty awesome looking demonic portal armor with tier 5, too.
Mages got a red robe, and now they look like lawn spikes.
Mar 30th 2007 10:50AM Anytime a class other than a warrior, pally or druid says they can tank.
While this doesn't make me quit, it's come close; the ever so common melee hunters. If I ask a hunter why he's doing melee damage, and he says because he does just as much damage, then my red flags go up.
and wouldn't it be impossible to type "/gim totally ninjaing chest after this boss dies, this @#$% pally thinks he can roll on hellreaver'"
once you type /[whatever], if it isn't a valid slash command it gives you an error.
Mar 16th 2007 9:36PM It definately works. I saw both of them. I had to get closer to my monitor though, maybe about 8 inches away.
Mar 16th 2007 2:37PM I don't know why, but that video makes me want that guy to die a horrible death. Just really irritates me.
And I would got to Tanaris. Nice water, nice beaches, a little dry, but nothing a mage couldn't fix.

You aren't supposed to be DPSing with mages. Shaman are a support class, and suggesting they get a DPS boost, is ignorant to the foundation of the entire game. Not every class does damage to the same level. Not every class can heal. It's balance (or at least as close as we're going to get with blizz).
To the topic though: Yes, they shouldn't be constantly OOM. It's obviously a problem with the class that should be addressed. I've only started playing a shaman, so I'm not completely familar with everything, but I can see that without mana, the class is pretty worthless.
Mar 3rd 2007 2:39PM Wow...they always do this. They put something in the game, and instead of balancing that spell, they say "...was never intended..." and nerf a bunch of stuff. If they keep nerfing mage's burst damage, they aren't going to have anything left.
