Around Azeroth Beta Edition: The castle in the clouds in the sky {WoW}

Aug 1st 2010 11:04AM Really beautiful zone, isn't it? Looks interesting. I wonder what secrets it hides.

Breakfast Topic: Where will you ride out the Cataclysm? {WoW}

Aug 1st 2010 11:01AM Sadly, everyone will most likely end up in Dalaran. I don't care if your computer can handle it, most people's wn't be able to handle most of the server being in one small spot. Even Orgrimmar will be bad with lag come Cataclysm, I fear. Ah well. I prefer Undercity anyway.

WRUP: StarCraft 2 edition {WoW}

Jul 31st 2010 10:07PM Hey guys, what's the evil corporation of the month for August? July was Activision.

Around Azeroth: Wild horses couldn't drag me away {WoW}

Jul 31st 2010 11:33AM Funnily enough, I never leveled to Northrend. I could never choose which character to level past 20. Kept getting "grass is always greener" feeling. Cataclysm may change that. But still, pictures like this make me think about all I'm missing out on.

Breakfast Topic: Make yourself at home {WoW}

Jul 31st 2010 8:33AM On topic, however.

My favourite place to chill was the Mage tower in Stormwind. I really felt like a Mage walking my level 10 Mage through that portal. And while waiting on dungeon queue's(or simply while bored), I kept walking up the ramp and slow falling off the top.

I always hung out there, and when we got guildmates to meet in one spot and simply goof off, I kept suggesting the Mage tower. Sure it looks boring, but a Brewfest Pony Keg and a few TCG items fixed that.

Jul 31st 2010 8:30AM I always enjoyed seeing small things like that. It really is the little things that make the game.

Whether it's climbing a hill in the Barrens and finding a Tauren woman and a small flock of Plainstriders(later I learned she was part of a quest, which made my discovery feel less important), or seeing the random Goblin merchant walking.

Really makes the world feel alive. I'm glad Blizzard is adding more of that kind of stuff to Cataclysm.

Phat Loot Phriday: Lord Walden's Top Hat {WoW}

Jul 30th 2010 9:07PM On a related note, look at that Worgen's eyes. Not quite centered. Looks mentally ill actually.

The Art of War(craft): World PvP in the new Azeroth {WoW}

Jul 30th 2010 8:32PM Also, I want to say that as an Engineer, I want to be in the Paratrooper position. As a Troll Warrior. Grenades will be everywhere.

Jul 30th 2010 8:25PM Well, Baba, with the changes in dungeons in Cataclysm, I believe that players will become more patient, and as a result they will.....ah, who am I kidding. Players will still try to AoE steamroll, then ask Blizzard to nerf it.

Phat Loot Phriday: Lord Walden's Top Hat {WoW}

Jul 30th 2010 8:09PM The Worgen starting experience, while nice, is kinda long to do just to waste a hat on a bank alt.
