Dec 22nd 2011 7:25PM Hey I did list the All-worgen guild, but apparently Disqus doesnt want me mentioning the words Rage - Across - Azeroth - Terenas - US all together :P
Dec 22nd 2011 7:17PM We have an all-worgen guild... absolutely no exceptions. on Terenas-US. For over a full year now varying numbers of us have gathered every Monday night (save 2 or 3 holidays) for "Running With Wolves" Dungeon and Raid runs. at our peak it was about 12 - 15 members at once.. lately its a bit harder to muster everyone given people moving, job requirements, etc.
But it has been a truly awesome, and sometimes strange experience. Aside from the race-excluded classes, we have all others, and every profession maxed out... even Archaeology and Fishing :D [...though what worgen want with fish escapes me...]
In our earlier levels it was funny to watch the reaction in battlegrounds when 8 - 10 worgen from the same guild and same Server came in to wreak havoc!!
Nov 3rd 2011 7:03PM My Female belf mage's name and basic appearance were both in spired by the D&D Goddess of Magic, thus was born Weejasseria. It's been fascinating to see who gets it and the resulting tells.
Jul 13th 2011 7:02PM I'm absotively, posilutely sure it was a particularly handsome Ironforge Dwarven Shadow Priest with appropriately flaming red hair and beard; who ended up having to heal those other three (sheesh Archdruids, my rear end. Don't they teach them healing in those open-air classes??) XD
To sum up:
Malfurion Stormrage - Scrub
Hamuul Runetotem - Scrub
Cenarius *Demigod* - such a letdown
Me - savior of Hyjal and Nordrassil, and by extension all of Azeroth, Emerald Dream, Outland/Draenor, Argus, Xoroth, Twisting Nether, Great Dark Beyond, et al.
What?? I can't have my flights of self-deluding grandeur??
Jun 20th 2011 12:14PM I would enjoy this SO much more if it wasnt like a tape of me learning to cook in the early 80's >.
Apr 27th 2011 7:48PM Thanks so much for your shout out to Low Shaman Blundy, my absolute favorite Cataclysm NPC. I even rolled a Dwarf shaman in his honor, named Shamaninnin. It was awesome to hear all three of you laughing hard at that. Made my day :D
Apr 19th 2011 2:56PM "hurriedly took the gryphon down to Silithus.."
HAH! from Winterspring?? There is NO SUCH THING. rofl
I do know what you mean, and I can't imagine how frustrating it was for the lowbies who could never get there in time, if even survive to find a way there.
Another big issue is to keep in mind the incredible selfishness/greed you see in a lot of the newer players these days... group cooperation and sacrifice? That's so 20th century :P
Apr 14th 2011 1:59PM Wait .. is this the family from Utah?... I'm a bit confused...
Mar 21st 2011 2:32PM that bit was included in "Kingdom of Loathing" as an homage... its just as frustrating there, too! MWWAHAHAHHAHAH
Mar 3rd 2011 2:55PM Guys, you apparently all missed that these are the original words from the Falco song.
A) Never really meant to be brilliant, or even understood.
B) They were apparently just using the music/song concept, in clever combo with the dude's name.
I got a big kick out of it, especially the Jormunger; synching that one up with the music must have been a total beeyatch!
It brought a slight moment of chokeup for me, because of the generosity of spirit and gratitude behind this project. What would WoW be like if we all showed at least restraint, if not outright positive energy and appreciation like this in the game>
Things that make you go..."hmmmmm".
