Aug 31st 2011 1:30PM @bsd107 Frankly, there's no glaring issue in the default game. At this point I believe most of the fixes are there simply for finesse, anyway.
May 23rd 2011 4:18PM Honestly, I think the problem is people don't really -want- the game to be back where it was. Because right now, the main game principles aren't largely different from those from back then. That is what bothers people, it's the same grind over and over, no matter how they try to dress it up. Why people didn't mind that back then was because it was all still new and there was lots to explore and learn about the game.
It's easy to say that they have to do something drastically different - but the MMO concept, to me, seems very restraining in that aspect.
May 3rd 2010 5:25PM I'm pretty sure it's the new (possibly in Stonetalon located) tauren village that was depicted in the Cataclysm preview video.
May 3rd 2010 8:38AM The man's right. The realm was quiet for some time, as was my guild The Spirit Wolves, and I was all like blaming Cataclysm for it and going emo. But a particular guild has organised a chain of assault events in Silithus against the silithid and it's sprouted more RP than I've seen since our Plague event back in '09.
So, by all means, if you're perpetuating on one of the quieter EU realms, have a ride to Silithus on Argent Dawn and join us in the fun! ;)
Making this less self-promoting, I'd agree with the OP more or less. There is a lot of silence outside guilds and outside events, but it has always been like that and I don't doubt it'll improve sooner or later; most notably at the Echo Isles and Gnomeregan rescue.
