Oct 12th 2010 1:10AM I wouldn't put any bets on it being Wednesday. If it's anything like what happened during the major patch before Wrath, we got it a week after the US servers. In some ways this is good as the Americans act as our guinea pigs and we get a shorter, less problematic patch process.
Sep 30th 2010 8:26AM Talent wise, I'll miss corpse explosion. To me fun little talents like this are what make the game, and I'm disappointed that this no longer seems to be in the new talent unholy tree. For some reason there was always something satisfying about exploding corpses, and it did some decent damage as well. I'd sacrifice a thousand piddling unholy blights for my corpse explosion.
Sep 16th 2010 1:53PM I must have missed where Blizz has said that want all three specs to be roughly equal. Last thing I saw from Blizz was that they were fine with BM doing less dps because it had other advantages in terms of levelling/solo play. I guess if they end up doing it for BM, then frost mages might have reason to feel hopeful as well
Sep 16th 2010 10:16AM ...though thinking about it, over the course of 30s, MD probably only typically makes up for a few tenths of a percent of tank threat so it probably won't make a massive difference
Sep 16th 2010 10:10AM I didn't miss the point - it's called speculation
Sep 16th 2010 10:06AM Well, I'm not so much thinking about me - I've got FD to wipe my threat. It's all the other poor sods who have gone all out matching their threat to the misdirected assisted threat of the tank that I feel bad for
Sep 16th 2010 9:46AM Yes, this could make misdirection potentially lethal. I'm not even sure it will be a good idea to use it anymore except for maybe certain gimmicky situations
Sep 16th 2010 9:36AM If BM is currently the highest DPS in the beta, do you think this means that Blizzard intend to make the spec more raid viable than it currently is, or will MM and SV just be eventually retuned to put BM in the shade once more?
Sep 1st 2010 12:36PM The skit at the end was by Statler and Waldorf from the muppet show I believe, at least the words were, may have been an impression of them.
Aug 20th 2010 2:09PM It's an interesting notion, and will be a boon for those wanting to enjoy a more 'real' experience from old raids. However, I think the stress is probably on the 'eventually', a bit like the fabled dance studios
