Apr 1st 2012 5:34PM I am excited. Some would say we forced Blizzard to evolve us back in wrath. Our tank-healing was unmatched. It was the only we could do, but noone else came even close. We were the only healer with an Int-spellpower convertion. In cata they evolved our tools and tried giving all healers that system. Now they are just forcing all back to stacking spellpower(Int) and Spirit for mana.
Our niche in cata is no longer tank healing(althrough we are still fairly competent at it) it is cast time. I like it and it seems to work from a develober-point as they can make stuff like sheath of light that affects all of our cast times and allows for some neat mechanics.
Mar 28th 2012 2:08PM I actually really hope the orgrimmar raid ends up with a showdown between Garrosh and Varian. Garrosh is not our prey, he is Varians. I would be happy if i was just set to deal with whoever turns out to really be behind all this(Magetha Grimtotem would be a prime contender IMHO).
Mar 25th 2012 6:49PM I hope we get to see more from Magetha Grimtotem. With all this talk of the dark shamans it seems appropiate because she is not only a dark shaman, she is THE dark shaman. And she has a grudge on Garrosh.
Mar 23rd 2012 3:02PM It is not so much if he should die as too how he should die.
I am not going to lie, he may be an enemy of the alliance and a treat to the world thus an enemy to me(I am a dwarf btw). But he is not my prey. The honor to fight him and slay him belongs to one man and one man only.
Varian wrynn. A final battle against Garrosh should involve a battle between the 2. Their rivaly is lengendary, from the very moment they meet in the violet hall(I think that was the first time) they have been fighting. I wouldn't mind if they pulled a Lich king and stunned us all at 10% and let the final phase of the battle be a showdown.
That said garosh still got potential. In a way i would say he "deserves" the fate of his father. Being thrown down and live with the shame of having brought dishonor to the horde. But also with the potential to redeem himself. The horde needs strong champions like him.
Mar 10th 2012 4:19AM I am not sure how different 25 man is, but on 10 man the Green-Purple-Blue is one of the easier comboes. As the guy above me said, purple eliminates a dps onze. Well now you just eliminated 2. Handleling the blue onzes is key here. Think of them as an extra mana pool. You can keep all your mana CDs on CD and will always have natural regeneration(Your healers are spirit-addicts at this point right?) You should have the main healer make a calculated decision when to take down an orb. The best way of dealing with the start of blue phase is to release another one afterall.
Now Red-yellow-Black is a teeth-puller. Get ready for a defensive heroism and make´sure your healers got enough mana. Did i mention that it is time for tank CDs?
Feb 26th 2012 8:08AM Remember back in the wrath days when paladins were expressly labelled as tank healers because they were the ONLY one who could do it?
Serriosly Wrath was for better or worse a wake-up call for Blizz. They couldn't keep ignoring the holy paladins need for additional healing spells, because 2 expansions that only had granted them stuff that made their existing heals more potent. We were at a breaking point, our heals were so intense on the tanks that Blizzard had to design heroic encounters with that in mind. Other healers barely stood a chance at keeping up the tanks.
For all the hate of the new model, it is very much needed. Cata brought forth 4 new heals and MOP seems to bring even more.
Feb 24th 2012 1:54PM I don't know if you noticed but on the mist calculator all of our auras are just... gone.
It seems they are doing exactly what you suggested and more so.
Aura mastery has been given the eff to reduce magical damage for 20% while giving Interubt immunity for 6 sec. Also renamed Devotion aura but don't let the name fool you.
So yea i think it is fair to assume they are trashing it as a stat.
Feb 13th 2012 5:26PM Opposing a trademark =/= Claiming it yourself.
I am sick of people saying that Blizzard are trying to claiming it themself THEY ARE NOT. They also aren't trying to get dota 2 renamed or delayed like that. They are trying to keep the name open, and i think they got a good case.
Fact is the EULA of the WC3 editor states that Blizzard own all rights related to the mods. So them claiming that Valve alone can't have the right to the name is a fair move. A EULA is not legally binding in court(It can't be there is minors involved) but it would still help blizzards case.
Feb 13th 2012 5:15PM I take it you have a The lawmaker in progress to discuss this.
Jan 6th 2012 5:19AM Sadly while such set do exist, most of the Dwarfen guard look-alikes items are of grey quality thus not transmogable.
