Aug 9th 2011 9:31AM unless that was honestly how you 'dealt' with it. Which is true of how I deal with PuGs: I have decided not to. A legitimate way to 'deal' with abusive people in your life is to cut them out of your life completely. I am not interested in adding to my stress levels by trying to group with rude, self-entitled people in PuGs, so I don't.
Perhaps a more accurate metaphor would be 'how do I deal with the bullies that constantly frequent my local hangout spot?' I've chosen to go to another hangout spot that is, imo, better than the other. Kudos to those who are trying to 'clean up' the other place, but I have other priorities in my life.
Aug 9th 2011 8:05AM I only run with guild groups.
hmm, I suppose that means I don't PuG. :P
Aug 4th 2011 8:19AM I was like, I know what I'll post! *reads article* wait a second, that sounds familiar... that's pretty much how our first Nef kill went, too. xP And I was also the add tank. :P
Aug 3rd 2011 8:42AM This. I definitely got choked up at that part of the quest line. ^^;; But I can blame it on pregnancy hormones... :P
Aug 2nd 2011 10:23AM My hubby and I play together; in fact, we picked up WoW originally when we were dating long-distance as something to do together. We've become a really good tank/healer team in our raiding guild(I'm tank, he's healer ;) ). Funny thing is, I like to play more WoW than he does! :P But it's mainly because he has less free time than me right now, and needs to divide that free time between his various hobbies.
Aug 1st 2011 9:55AM I hold on to all the tier gear I've managed to earn over the years, from bits and bobs of tier 1 and 2 to full sets of t4, 5, and 7. Now I'll have to clear out some of my other junk to make room for my t11 pieces I'll soon be replacing! :)
Jul 31st 2011 8:55AM [attempt at heart symbol derp]) as something we could do together, even being separate physically. We stumbled on an RPing guild fairly early in the leveling process, and were invited to join. Since then, I don't think we've ever not been in a guild of some sort, though we moved on to raiding guilds after hitting max level. I LOVE the social aspect of WoW, and I LOVE the community we're part of now (shameless plug: www.tribegaming.com). Playing without other people would be lonely and boring! :P
Jul 31st 2011 8:54AM I started playing WoW with my long-distance boyfriend(who is now my hubby of almost 2 years
Jul 27th 2011 12:11PM I had to build a Ret offset rather quickly when I joined a raiding guild in early Cata, and in an effort to not run around with a green crafted helm, I figured I would use the bit of honor I had accumulated to get a nice PvP helm that was even better than the JP one, since I don't PvP at all, and I wanted to save my JP for my mainspec Prot gear. Fast forward several months, I still haven't replaced that helm. >.> Just about every single other slot in my offset has been upgraded to raid drops and excess JP purchases, but I can't seem to get an upgrade to that helm. xP
Jul 9th 2011 8:07AM I would be pretty sad... but I do have other games I like to play, and am a member of a cross-game community, so I would probably join them in another game's universe. Additionally, my hubby and I have a baby due in October, so I wouldn't have that much more time to fill. :P
