Raid Rx: 7 pet peeves of healers {WoW}

Feb 2nd 2011 12:43AM My current pet peeve as a Resto Shaman is running with Warlocks who refuse to buff me with Dark Intent while life-taping after trash pulls.

I've got a lewd analogy for this phenomena: "That's like @#$%*$@ someone in the *&*%# without having the &*%$#@ courtesy to give them a $#@%*%-%#*%#@*!"

12 Days of Winter Veil Giveaway Day 1: Gigabyte GTX 460 graphics card {WoW}

Dec 23rd 2010 2:19AM Ah, what the hell. I can use it.

12 Days of Winter Veil Giveaway Day 1: Razer Naga gaming mouse {WoW}

Dec 23rd 2010 2:05AM I sure could use one of those. Had my eye on it for some time. It would make my healing more reactive if I had my emergency heal cooldowns bound to thumb keys.

WoW Insider's Cataclysm launch giveaway: Landros' Gift Box {WoW}

Guest Post: Into the future with user-created content {WoW}

Oct 4th 2010 6:06PM In just to say is an awesome guild name. If only I could have stolen Bilbo's book title first!

Cataclysm release date set for December 7 {WoW}

Oct 4th 2010 10:55AM I hope they have a compelling ad campaign like they did for Starcraft 2. Though I doubt they can top the cinematic feel it had.

"War is coming. With all its glory... and all its horror."

Cataclysm beta removes portals from Dalaran and Shattrath {WoW}

Sep 27th 2010 2:28AM At first, that sounds like really bad news. But on second thought it's kind of nice. Having an emphasis on the old cities again reminds me of what the felt like leveling up 1-58. It's just gotten sweeter with mounts exceeding 100% speed.

Breakfast Topic: AH undercutting = bargain shopping {WoW}

Sep 26th 2010 7:14PM Undercutting is the natural order of the economy. Ultimately, there's a finite number of buyers on a given realm. Marking down products easily makes the difference between taking a slight loss on profit and your auction expiring leaving you empty handed.

I just wish people would undercut by significant amounts. Anything less than a gold is dishonest. If you're offering a product and placing it as though it were a better value, at least list a noticeable difference between the previous bidder. I undercut people all the time, but I do so by about 5-10% instead of a few useless copper. What's better for the consumer? "Buy 30 of my items and you can send a letter for the money you saved.", or "Buy 30 of my items and you can pick up a stack of potions for your raid with the money you saved." I know this is just semantics and I know it's utterly futile in the grand scheme of things, but I take pride in the fact that my items are a genuine value yet I still make enough to put the monopoly guy to shame.

Sam Raimi discusses Warcraft movie {WoW}

Jun 25th 2010 6:23PM Any word on if it's live action or CG?

Based on what I've seen recently (How to Train Your Dragon) I would really like to see the warcraft universe in Dreamworks style animation. I think live action would strike a weird tone, considering all of the WoW audience are used to seeing... somewhat cartoony realities instead of AoC or WAR style realism.

Win a copy of "The Guild Leader's Handbook" by Scott Andrews {WoW}

May 11th 2010 10:39PM A leadership how-to written about WoW guilds? Geez, ever since my last officer role failed to rally the guild from destruction I've shunned the idea of getting back in the saddle. But this book may help show me where we went wrong.
