May 14th 2010 4:18PM What's wrong with need/greed for 25 man PUG? If you need it, need it, if you don't, greed it. You can't need an item that is lower than what you already have so I don't see the harm with need/greed like the 5 man instances do already.

The lockout is extremely annoying. I should be able to go into an instance/raid/dungeon as often as I like. Being locked to one for a 1 week period seems stupid to me.

I quit playing in 2008 after burning through all the quests I could stand. I came back in 2010 to find the random dungeon finder which seems like a great way to get in, blow up stuff and get out. Seems like if it works for 5 man, why couldn't this work for 10 or 25 in raids?

May 14th 2010 3:45PM "If you don't have the time to raid, by circumstance or choice, do you think you should have access to the best gear out there? 232 gear allows for entry into all but the highest level raid content."

It's not "fun enough" (to me) to spend hours grinding through raids at a marginal chance to upgrade gear.

The game needs a random raid finder like the random dungeon finder. The existing raid browser sucks. The game desperately needs a way for random groups of players to form, get in the raid and start - I despise getting to a 9:00pm scheduled raid only to wait an hour for the group to form.

There are guilds comprised of players who enforce a regimented and disciplined style of play but that's not realistic for the majority of players.

"If the difference between 232 and 245 caused you to quit you're playing for the wrong reasons."

It's not just that... I guess it's that i'm not willing to waste so much time to do raiding as it requires. On a Friday night I can queue for a random dungeon and be in combat within 5 minutes after logging on. That's impossible for any raid. With 14 million subscribers I have to wonder why a random raid finder couldn't do the same.

May 14th 2010 2:20PM Trophy of the Crusader takes too much time to get and level 245 sets are unobtainable because of this. I don't believe it is a fair trade to exchange 90 frost emblems for 1 trophy either...

I cancelled my subscription and quit playing because I have no choice but to spend hours in a raid group hoping for a small chance of getting a Trophy. Huge waste of my time.

Level 232 gear took a while but it was fun.

I probably would not have cancelled my subscription if heroic Halls of Reflection offered a chance to receive a Trophy (and a better chance than the Shriveled Heart drop).

Maybe when Cataclysm comes out it will be a little more realistic for casual players to get better gear.
