Feb 29th 2012 3:54PM Unstable Barrier
8% Base Mana
2 minute cooldown
The earth embraces your target with a volatile layer of sediment, reducing incoming damage taken by 40(?)%. After 10 seconds, the barrier is destroyed by an earthquake centered around the target, dealing damage equal to the amount absorbed over 5 seconds, split among all targets within 20 yards.
I liked the idea of Spirit Link totem and how it's very powerful, but doesn't actually heal any damage, rather making it easier to heal among more people. So, this would give damage protection when it's needed the most and turning it into something more manageable by Healing Rain/CH.
Feb 29th 2012 3:32PM So...Main Hand for PvP will probably be a clear choice between Deadly and Instant. That leaves Wound, Leeching, Paralytic, and Crippling left. Crippling is never going to get applied, because Deadly Brew will put it up. Wound is probably going to be necessary against any team with a healer if you don't have anyone else to apply it, Leeching for survival against double DPS teams. Then there's Paralytic, which requires you to give up a slow on your target. Better choice than today, but still seems a little restrictive imo.
Feb 9th 2012 7:10PM I think that the Have Group, Will Travel guild perk was worth mentioning. When I have to get to some out of the way place like Icecrown from Stormwind or even worse, sometimes I can get a person in that zone to summon me by asking nicely and/or offering money.
Oct 11th 2011 4:45PM Why is the first part of the article called 'Wild Growth awkwardness' and then proceeds to talk about Lifebloom? o.O
Sep 30th 2011 10:36PM I think the most insulting part of this article is that you failed to even mention our gorgeous new PvP set! D:
Sep 3rd 2011 8:49PM My mage has full PvP gear including all weapon slots and both trinkets giving resil, and I'm only at about 3750. It's almost all Vicious or higher with just a couple of lower level gear. How the hell do you get 4k resil without weapons? =/
Sep 3rd 2011 8:43PM "It was so integral to raiding that only the most hardcore anti-addon player dared raid without a threat meter. Why would Blizzard leave it out of the default interface if it was so blatantly needed?"
I've always used default target frames, and I've always seen a number above my target window showing what percent of threat I was at. =/
Jul 14th 2011 12:03PM Question for the Queue:
In WSG I can always see the location of my team's flag carrier, but not always the enemy's flag carrier.
What determines when I can or cannot see the location of the EFC?
May 10th 2011 3:31PM It says the legendary is BoE...obviously it's wrong, but I wonder how much it would possibly sell for if it was?
Dec 7th 2010 7:11PM Did today bring anything new for players who don"t have the expansion yet?
