Breakfast Topic: Listening to music while playing WoW {WoW}
Aug 29th 2011 9:39AM I hit shuffle on my music collection. Unless I'm in a particular mood. However, I have been known to open up Vent and let the music from my speakers wash over the raid channel during downtime......especially when listening to Mambo.

Best re-interpretation of a classic. Thanks for the giggle.
Breakfast Topic: What quest chains can you imagine on the big screen? {WoW}
Jul 26th 2011 11:16AM Really, really surprised no one mentioned Stalvan Mistmantle....what a creepy tale.
Darrowshire would be cool too.
Or even the story of Stratholme (think Hogwarts for the undead!)
Breakfast Topic: What's in a name? {WoW}
Jul 20th 2011 10:19AM Well....
All of my dwarf toons all have the same name. Or a version of it. I selected a random-generated name for my warrior and the rest is history. (A sister, a cousin, a few more cousins....)
My hunter has a Boar named Bacon and a Bear named Fozzie.
So yes, I'm a bacon-eating muppet fan.

Jul 6th 2011 12:23PM A bunch of quests in Deepholm have the same mechanic - so probably it exists for all of Cataclysm's "kill the boss-type" quests.
Breakfast Topic: What type of player are you? {WoW}
Jul 6th 2011 9:49AM This. I used to raid pretty regularly during BC/LK. At one point I was the main tank (BC) then one of the top healers (LK). Now I have 3 85s (only one is geared enough to Raid), 3 level 80+ Alts, and a hunter lost somewhere in the 50s.
I can play my classes (I'm not terribad - just dumb) but don't have the time to raid or progress beyond the heroic Pugs I hate to tank.
Breakfast Topic: When other players become other people {WoW}
Apr 26th 2011 9:29AM My old guild was that way. With co-guildmasters that were parents of 4 young boys (some of who would log on during daylight hours - so we had a daytime decorum policy), a married couple who were tops in DPS and heals, another couple 2nd in DPS and heals, military personnel, farmhands, a cop, a social worker, civil engineer, etc.
That's why I play WoW. As these folks became my friends. Some have moved to another guild, so I've followed them there, but not all - and I miss the rest.
WoW is fun and engaging (at times) - BUT it's the people I used to raid, run dailies, play drinking games, talk about football, etc with that have kept me in the game the past 5 years.

Breakfast Topic: What's your favorite dungeon or raid memory? {WoW}
Feb 18th 2011 9:55AM Oh! I forgot one!!!!
A disastrous Ony PUG run (at 80) where everyone died on phase 2 save a Ret Pally, A holy priest and my prot pally.....
By the end of phase 3 (15 minutes later!) I was tops in DPS.
Breakfast Topic: What's your favorite dungeon or raid memory? {WoW}
Feb 18th 2011 9:45AM I too have a cherished Kara memory. Well two of them...
The first time I solo tanked a speed run (on a warrior)....two of my guildies were egging me on. One of them in vent, the other via whispers. Basically - I pulled a group, we fought some, and as soon as I heard PULL in my ears, I got the next....
The other cherished memory was also in Kara (another solo tank gig in a full guild group) when I was tanking Nightbane and the only non-guildie in the group said on vent - wow he's pretty good for a warrior. I guess b/c I was silent the whole run.....
