I'm unguilded since I mostly solo. That said, if anyone wants to two-man around the new content, I'd be interested.
Oct 2nd 2006 10:34AM I don't RP, but the crowd on RP servers is waaay better. Trust me, if you are new, and are looking for a good realm to learn the game, try a newish RP realm.
Sep 19th 2006 10:35AM ENOUGH! Enough freakin high-level instances. How about another 20th, 30th or 40th level instance? Anyone getting sick of WC or SM? Ever wished for a new instance to run through with a lower-level toon? Wow, we're going to get two new races, and get to run the same old crap with them.
May 23rd 2006 3:16PM Was in an SFK PUG over the weekend, and we had been using standard loot rules. Right before taking out Arugal, the group leader whispers me to ask if I was planning to roll on the Robes of Arugal if they drop (he was also a cloth wearer). I say "yes", he responds "k". Arugal is down to 15-20% health, and I suddenly notice that the guild leader switches the loot format to "free-for-all". Realizing what he is going to do, I make sure I am right beside A when he goes down. We both loot his corpse at the same moment, and I come up with the robes. He spams some nasty words, and then bails. Idiot. He would at least have had a fair chance at the robes if he hadn't tried to pull that BS.

Apr 4th 2006 9:28AM Totally agree with you J-bob. Glad you posted right after Kovah or I would have.
Mar 30th 2006 10:10AM Generally I find prices fluctuate very, very widely - depending on a number of factors including the age of the server (e.g. how long it has been up and running).
For example, I recently returned to an old server (Kilrogg) on which I had been inactive for over six months. Now as I said this is an old realm which is basically populated by level 60's and alts. The AH prices had completely changed when I logged back on after a half-year absence. All of the lower level twink items were crazy expensive. I assume this is because the sellers know that any low level toons are alts, which means they have a financially loaded 'sugar daddy' level 60 funding their equipment. Ironically, some of the level 40 or 50+ items are actually cheaper than the lower level stuff. I assume this is because 95% of the server is at level 60, and so the items being drop generated are all higher-level items, hence the market is flooded with those items, hence prices drop.
I've commented on the AH, but this applies to enchanting as well. The older the realm, the more enchants will cost, because the population will generally be high-level and wealthy. If you are a newbie soloist who somehow selected one of the old realms to start out on, well then you are screwed. Soloists depend on the AH for gear, and the AH on an old realm has prices adjusted for a wealthy client base.
Check out prices on a new server. VAST difference (and not just because of the newbs there who don't know what a good price-point is).
Mar 14th 2006 9:41AM It's going to be the Draenei. Check out the Blasted Lands. Blood Elves, Draenei, and the gateway to Outland.
