Please tell me it's Rexxar.

Jul 5th 2011 2:06PM The main issue with dishonorable kills wasn't the gamers.
It was that it was easy to accidentally aggro a "civilian" and thus lose honor unless you ran far enough away to drop aggro. Would would be difficult to do without....aggroing another civilian.
You didn't have to actually hit them, you just had to get near them and they would attack you, as they were hostile.
You couldn't do anything world PVP wise because if you went into town, even just to attack other players, you couldn't AOE in a lot of places and your movement would get very restricted because if you got too close...boom, dishonorable kill.
May 24th 2011 1:53PM Does Tarecgosa's Rest require running a lot of BWD/BOT/TotFW? If not, I'm not sure how this affects it.
These aren't nerfs to Firelands, just the old raids that we are CURRENTLY doing (and will be moving away from once Firelands drops)

There were not many NPCs if you assume Stormwind has a population of like 50.
There are NPCs that we don't actually see, I would assume. Otherwise like half the population of Azeroth are heroes.

Mar 17th 2011 8:51AM There is a big difference between rape and a tsunami/earthquake/natural disaster.
One is one human being doing terrible things to other human beings. Sure, it happens, but it's especially offensive because of the terrible violation it is to another human being.
The other is a natural disaster. It is exactly that, nature. It is the impersonal world killing lots of people.
As someone who has lost friends to both natural disasters (hurricanes), accidents, and murder as well as had friends raped, I can tell you that rape is by FAR the more traumatizing (obviously death has more of an effect on the person who is dead, but they can't be offended anymore). I could very easily see them wanting to exclude it for that reason.
Mar 16th 2011 11:28AM I have a concern. My pathetic magic used to betray me nearly every week. Sometimes multiple times in the same week.
With the coming of the Cataclysm, it seems that it has stopped betraying me. This would seem like a good thing. However, my concern is that it hasn't actually stopped betraying me, it has just become more sneaky about it.
So, how can I tell if my pathetic magic is betraying me without relying on large, undead frost wyrms?
Feb 23rd 2011 9:44AM Except that's not CC.
DG - okay, it's near me and trying to hit me
Interrupt - Oh no! It uses mostly instant abilities
Strangulate - What if it's not a caster?
Interrupt - Crap! Instant abilities again!
AMS - What about the rest of the group?
The only thing that was actually CC that you mentioned was Hungering Cold and that's very short duration.
Sure you could do your rotation on a caster mob that uses lots of interruptable spells, assuming no one pulled aggro off of you. But there are mobs that should be CCed that don't fit into that category.
And if you are using so many GCDs on "CCing" a mob like that, your DPS is going to be down a good bit. That's not the case with a real CC. You lose a couple of seconds max with one of those.

Except it is nothing but nostalgia really.
2H frost is like a bonus. Frost is meant to be DW, but because people wanted to be able to be a DK that DPSed, wielded a 2H weapon, and did not use a pet, Blizz tries to keep 2H Frost around the same DPS as DW.
Yes, it's a little behind. Like 1%. If you're "being carried" as 2H frost, then you are likely being carried as DW frost. Not many wipes occur because of a 1% DPS difference unless you're on cutting edge content, in which case you probably wouldn't be frost at all (spec unholy and do more DPS).
Basically what you are asking for is for us to have 4 distinct types of spec. The only class that has that right now is Druids. Why do DKs NEED something that 8/9 of the other classes don't have?
Sure, it would be a bonus. But it would also be a bonus for warriors if they added some form of Prot DPS. Or Disc DPS for priests. But there is no reason to do that.
Blood is a tank tree now. We have one role per tree now (and I like that. It's much easier to balance that way, so we don't run into issues with specs that are way behind everyone else). Blood is our Prot.
