The sudden yet inevitable betrayal of gaming immersion {WoW}

Jan 8th 2011 4:36AM I don't know why, but that blend of humour often seems to help with the immersion. I've tried similar games. I went to Warhammer Online for a while, and I also tried Aion. Those worlds actually seemed to dry for immersion. Warcraft's possession of a vast emotional spectrum that can successfully include humour really appears to work in its favour from my perspective. I should say that I don't always find the opportunity to seek roleplay, but it is something for which I hold great interest. I also tried Champions Online, though, and the fact that it was apparently built solely on humour destroyed any possibility of immersion for me.
