Nov 17th 2010 3:30AM This is going to be pointless on Al'Akir EU. The most Alliance I've seen in WG this year was 3, which is about half the Alliance population on the server. Thanks for the preview Blizz, but unless you stop hoping to squeeze some more cash out of Horde who are fed up with the lack of PVP on this PVP realm and fix the imbalance, the preview is a waste of our time.
Jun 25th 2010 1:37AM I've ordered a new 64-bit machine specifically to be able to turn up my graphics settings as I'm fed up with having everything set on low.
Seems I'm in for a disappointment when it turns up and I find I have no improvement. Perhaps blizz need to publish a "Maximum Spec" as well to stop people like me wasting their money.
May 19th 2010 4:22AM I can't access the web version to check it right now but this is going to go one of two ways depending on how closed down the web version is.
1) If it's not scriptable then it'll just be a convenience, which is fine - people can choose if it's worth it to them to do their auction house business at work and risk their jobs (which they can already do if they choose to take sick days to play WoW).
2) If the web version is scriptable in any way then it'll be possible to write a far more intelligent tool than auctioneer to run in your browser, or on a server. This would offer a huge advantage to anyone using the service. The FAQ says there will be a 200 transactions per 24 hour period limit when the system goes live. I guess the question to ask in this case is whether the limit is low enough to prevent anyone totally controlling large parts of the economy on a low-pop realm.
Will I buy it? Nope. In no way worth $2.99 per month to me.
