Nov 10th 2010 9:22AM QUOTE: "Great news for people who want to switch from their terrible male night elf (...)"
Terrible NIght Elf Male? LOL, lol and lol.
NIght Elves are quite cool.
I'd rather be a male night elf than a wannabe fashionable emo Worgen any day of the week...
Oct 25th 2010 10:10AM GARROSH killed Cairn, more than "Magatha's Poison".
Oct 22nd 2010 10:49AM So, it is obvious all Garrosh's falut for being a jerk. He killed Cairne. Even more them Magatha's posion, Garrosh killed Cairne.
I wish Garrosh a slow and painful death.
Oct 18th 2010 5:28PM So, elitist jerks like you Scott Andrews are the reason I avoid raiding altogheter. Rules and rules (some completely arbitrary), people that absolutely over worry about gear/dps and this bourgeoius way of thinking ("I know what is better and everyone must follow me" is basically what your article says.) I firmly believe games are about fun. If I wanted a second job, I wouldn't play a game at all.
Oct 14th 2010 7:04PM I disagree about the "negativity" towards Frost 2H. I getting very good results with 2H, more or less in the same level as DW. (Yes I am. Since the beta started there are people claiming "2H Frost sucks" or "2H Frost is great" I say "2H is pretty viable / competitive").
Plus there's always something to press, since I'm swimming in Runic Power and whenever runes aren't available at all I go with Frost Strike.
Plus number 2, I enjoy more 2H, and I'm having a lot of fun. :)
Oct 9th 2010 5:48PM I want to play a naga.
For some reason, I alway thought (since vanilla :D) that eventually a faction of naga would join the horde. They would fit the "non human" look the of (most, now) the horde races.
When Blood Elves, joined, I thought "Great! Next, another group of ex-Highborne that are no longer that evil and eventually will reedeem themselves will be playable!".
But, sadly, no. Not yet.
Oct 9th 2010 5:42PM I'm not buying it anytime soon. I hate to quest in crowded zones.
Oct 9th 2010 5:38PM QUOTE: "We're still dropping Strength of Earth and Windfury Totems for earth and wind, with our water totem being conditional based on the raid or group composition."
You forgot to add that, if there's a DK in the group, there's no need for Strenght of the Earth (all DKs have Horn of Winter). Plus, if there's a Frost DK, there's no need for Windfury Totem, because Frost DKs have Improved Icy Talons.
Frost DKs are walking STR of the Earth / Windfury Totems. :D
So in this case, a shaman can drop Stoneskin / Wrath of Air (if only to help the healer, shoud be the case).
Oct 5th 2010 7:08PM QUOTE: "If, as some people fear, the heroics are going to be too difficult, or too time consuming for you, just stick with the regular dungeons"
This is ridiculous. Even the most "casual" (whatever that word truly means) will want do do Heroics. Dungeons, even HC ones, are NOT raids. Simple like that. One doesn't need to be in a guild to do dungeons. If Blizz turns HCs into raids, a wave of players will leave. Me included. TBC did this to me. I couldn't bear the "raid like" HCs and siply left. i play to have FUN, nt to get stressed. Leave that to raids. Wrath brought me back, but if Cata dungeons / HCs are insanely hard, I will, and I'm sure many others too, will simply leave after getting to 85. And Blizzard will feel this impact.
Oct 3rd 2010 8:27PM QUOTE: "Pandaren are quiet, gentle creatures who value honor, friendship and discipline above anything else. They have no affiliation with either faction, though their ideals seem to mesh closely with those of the Alliance (...)".
The Horde are NOT the villains of WoW. This kind of thought is way too simplistic, and the way you put this, it seems you are saying that the Horde is the whole "non good" faction. As if all "humans and company" were that good anyway. Horde may have more "struggles" (even more now with Garrosh) but, in general*, they do value friendship (Why did Vol'jin joined the horde? And Cairne? Due to Thrall deeds) discipline and honor (orcs prob value Honor more than anyhting else). Tauren are noble with great respect for nature. And Blood Elves are kind of "redeemed" after the Sunwell events.
* The "in general" refers to the Forsakan, that in Cata (centralized in Sylvanas actions) seems to be the "new Scourge" (I"m sure this a plot from Blizz to turn Sylvanas into a raid boss, one day... sadly)
