The Queue: Definitely not a kitten, at all {WoW}

Oct 2nd 2010 6:43PM I agree completely, vocenoctum. People really decided to forget that Wath dungeons, back when we did then with greens / blues lower than lvl 187, were not all a walk in the park.

Also, I fail to see why some (many?) people think that CC is so great, or that it seems to require skills at all to use... It doesn't. If you want a hard dungeon after all, do it without ANY CC.

The Queue: Definitely not a kitten, at all {WoW}

Oct 2nd 2010 6:30PM Dear "Grovin of Dark Hour". What are you talking about?

"Appropriate punishment"? "Ignoble behavior"? Are you trying to seem smart? Clever? Cunning, perhaps? You just sounded bothersome.

Please be useful next time, avoiding such despicable comments, and ask something that actually remotely relates to WoW and that readers here could possibly care for.

Thank you.

Call for Submissions: Cataclysm zone reviews {WoW}

Oct 1st 2010 9:04PM QUOTE: "In general, we want to pay people for quality work. If it's good enough to be published on WoW Insider we want to pay you for it. Not paying someone for their work opens a great big can of worms that we'd prefer not to deal with."

Alex Ziebart, your are being terribly biased. It's not just because money is involved that someone will "write better". Or do anything better, in general.

You say that, if someone would write willingly for free, the article would necessarily be horrid. It's not true. There's a whole lot of people out there that writes marvelous things in the web everyday, about any topic. Including WoW players, mind you.

Call for Submissions: Cataclysm zone reviews {WoW}

Oct 1st 2010 8:53PM Yes, Noyou, we DO have to go through this again and again, because this limitation is beyond ridiculous.

Plus, if a person writes something, he/she wants to get the credit, not let someone else have their name attached to it.

It's not because something doesn't bother you that it won't bother someone esle. Try to view things from the other person point of view.

Shifting Perspectives: Hopes for balance PvP in Cataclysm {WoW}

Oct 1st 2010 8:47PM Are you kidding, poster? Balance is pretty nice in PvP. Snare, HoTs,Instant shapeshift, hurricane... more than enough to blast any meelee, at least.

Or the problem is that casters are terrible OP in PvP compared to meelee...

Gold Capped: Making money in the time remaining before Cataclysm {WoW}

Sep 30th 2010 6:23PM Man, I loved the David Bowie reference! ("Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes").

For those that don't know, it comes from a song from the 70's called, well, "Changes". : )

The Light and How to Swing It: Retribution in 4.0.1 {WoW}

Sep 29th 2010 4:56PM I hate this new design. Blizz tried to hard to "revamp" ret and ended up with a clunky mix of rogue / feral that is not as fun, and not fun at all. If I wanted to play a rogue... I'd roll one.

Plus the sheer amount of RNG in the spec. Plus the "2 button-centric" gameplay, making us press CS and JDG a lot to get the damn HoPo. There's the Inquisition every 30sec too.. annoying, annoying short self buff.

Oh well, I'll have to live with it.

Cataclysm Beta: Worgen emotes and back flip video {WoW}

Sep 27th 2010 2:32PM Stupid me. The comment above was to be a reply to darknautilus' comment.

Cataclysm Beta: Worgen emotes and back flip video {WoW}

Sep 27th 2010 2:30PM Perhaps. Belf, Goblins and Tauren are not feroucious by any means. In fact, Tauren is the most noble race in the game. >The< most noble, I'm telling!

Cataclysm Beta: Worgen emotes and back flip video {WoW}

Sep 27th 2010 2:25PM Just to remember, Blood Elves do a horizontal flip sometimes when they jump, waaay cooler than the Nelf flip.

And the Worgen one is preety nice. :)
