Jan 5th 2011 5:39PM The tol'vir in Halls of Origination are of the stone variety... are these Neferset, original uncorrupted guardians, or Old God minions like the obsidians?
It's perhaps also interesting to note the peculiar watchers in HoO.. Ammunae, of Life, probably a servant of Eonar, went to kindergarten with Freya. Isiset, of Magic, probably a disciple of Norgannon. Rajh, of the Sun. There are no particular titans concerned with the Light or the Sun, as far as I know. But the strangest is Setesh, of Chaos. The Titans abhor chaos, as far as we know.. a little "get to know your enemy"? Or perhaps something created by Sargeras before he went off on his merry little Crusade?
Jan 5th 2011 3:55AM Wowpedia editors have done some digging on this:
Dec 30th 2010 11:03AM Icecrown Gunboat.
It's just such a completely brain dead, boring excercise. Especially as healer, it seems, there is nothing to do during the whole fight. And you can't really seem to make it finish faster. Just watch that stupid health bar go down veeeeeeeeeeeery sloooooooowly.
Things being hard and wiping is to be expected, and has happened a lot in progression. But rarely has any 'boss' been less interesting than trash. I hate it so very, very much.
Dec 30th 2010 5:02AM The problem with attunements is alts. They should really make them account-wide. Or at least provide some kind of buyable BoA token to attune alts.
Dec 27th 2010 4:38AM Well, getting into melee range feels very paladin-y to me, to be honest. It's nice for Holy Radiance (I love that spell!), and melee mana regen is a nice bonus in these heroic times.
Dec 24th 2010 12:16PM Aldor Elevator had nothing on his heroic counterpart: Serpentshrine Elevator. He was brutal.
Dec 23rd 2010 4:49AM That thing you did in Silithus was just a setback!
Dec 22nd 2010 6:34PM Strangely, I haven't actually had significant problems in PuGs yet, although I admit I've only been in fully pugged groups for normal runs. I'll only run heroics in guild or mostly-guild groups.
That being said, my number one issue are those creepy silent players. In Wrath, almost everyone was completely silent, all the time, and just facerolled their AoE buttons for 30 minutes. But now, we need to talk, man. It's very important to communicate in a PuG. And, IMO, it's important to get that nagging feeling of hostility out of the way. We're here to get something done together, we're willing to help eachother and not be douchebags about it.
Still.. I feel for anyone attempting heroic Stonecore in a true PuG group.
Dec 22nd 2010 5:36AM That's a confirmed bug.
But that's a graphical issue, and therefore a client issue, and will have to wait for a client patch.
Although they could theoretically hotfix the client nowadays with their fancy new streaming technology. But their QA guys would probably hate that.
Dec 22nd 2010 5:34AM I was sort of expecting a nerf to those Jasperthing Swarmers too. They spawn fast and drop embersilk like its going out of fashion.
