Make like a tree and check out ArenaNet's Sylvari Week {Massively}

Yeah but it looks like a long shot for this game to suck at this point. ArenaNet would almost have to TRY to screw up this awesome looking game. xD

And that ain't happenin'.

Yeah JC went from being a potential 5th or 6th alt choice to possibly being my first choice.

He's a troll. Don't even respond to him. Massively really needs to ban this guy. He's a nuisance to an otherwise solid community here.

Free for All: So what else can you get for 150 dollars? {Massively}

Jul 27th 2011 6:54PM You have look at it from a quality not quantity perspective. Now no one is forced to buy the CE for $150 so it's merely a choice for those who are extremely excited about SWTOR, love Star Wars and also now that BioWare have a stellar reputation and deserve our trust.

So the question is whether it's worth $150 to have the joy of buying yourself the CE for a title and IP that you've been eagerly awaiting for a long time OR would you rather spend that money on a larger quantity of MMO goods and services for games that you're not as interested in and/or are of a much lower possible quality of having a AAA MMO from a top develop with a beloved IP?

I'd rather spend my money on something I know I want and gets me more excited then all of the currently over-saturated F2P or cash shop titles out there COMBINED.

Also as has been said, the Malgus statue alone is worth at least $60 - $100. Which you could probably sell one eBay for at least $100+ after release. There's also the musical score, the limited edition timeline book, the authenticator AND then you include the virtual goods only after all that!

It's a good deal and more importantly an OPTIONAL purchase. Personally it's more valuable the all 2nd rate cash shop garbage out there. IMHO of course.

The Daily Grind: What grosses you out in MMOs? {Massively}

Jul 24th 2011 9:43PM Anime dipictions of underage girls in revealing attire. It's gross and a bit silly too. I mean they wield huge 2h swords and get attacked by beasts in those outfits?!?

Star Wars: The Old Republic pre-order is live! [Updated] {Massively}

Jul 21st 2011 1:09PM @Twist3d

If you go into the actual store the code for the Standard Edition prints out, and as of about 20 mins ago it seems that even the CE code is now printing out in store as well.

But this all may be pointless with the EA press release about a possible "Holiday 2011" release. This is a freakin' MMO and you don't release pre-orders 4-5 months before your releasing the game.

That might be ok with single-player titles but not with an MMO.
