Feb 22nd 2011 12:44PM I can't speak for the entire wow community, but I know when I queue as DPS I am deathly afraid of going afk while in the lfg queue. With 30 to 40 minute waits and the time window to accept a group being so short,
I am much more inclined to wait to accept a queue then take a quick break than to take a quick break, miss the queue, and wait another 30-40 minutes for the next queue to pop.
Sometimes queues pop early, and if I am away during the expected time in queue I might miss the alert to join the instance.

Have "war-games" replaced them? If so, how do they function now that opponents can not be randomly selected.
My understanding of how war-games work is that participates construct both teams, such that combatants will always know what they are facing.
This system seems to promote more bragging rights between groups of friends than actual practice for your arena team against random comps.
TL:DR Did wargames break arena skirmishes?

Rogue vs. Hunter.
Fight starts. Rogue wants to vanish and get away. He uses Cloak of Shadows(removes any DoTs and Hunter's Mark) and sprints away. Uses Vanish. He is now supposed to be safely out of sight. (unless a Shot is fired knocking him out of stealth).
However, The Hunter's Pet magically still can see the rogue even in stealth. The pet follows, attempting to attack.
The rogue must run away until the pet stops following to avoid an auto attack, effectively breaking stealth.
I did some research and this was supposedly addressed in the bugs section of the 2.2 Patch notes. Not sure If it that fixed it or not however.
