Jul 2nd 2011 12:12PM Dungeon set 0 and 0.5 are not available (due to Cata's dungeon revamp). Tier 1 and 2 are available (in MC and BWL and the like, the exception being t2 helms from Ony). Tier 3 is no longer available due to Naxx's move. The rest of the tiers should be available (afaik).

The Light and How to Swing It: No more avoidance caps {WoW}
Nov 10th 2010 2:21PM And you might want to check your facts. 540 Defense was the requirement for becoming uncrittable by normal boss mechanics (535 for heroics).
102.4% avoidance/reduction WAS the number used in TBC to prevent crushing blows. In order to knock it off the list, you had to replace it with miss, dodge, parry, or block.
If you're going to be an aggressive prick, you might want to ensure your statements are 100% true.

Nov 3rd 2010 3:39PM It doesn't work the way you're thinking. Instead of 3% per tick, you get 5% per tick. (Not an additional 2% of the 3%). If you were getting 300 per tick without the talent, you get 500 per tick with the talent. It's not 60%, it's actually 66.6% (repeating of course).

Nov 3rd 2010 3:11PM Mutilate is just as viable as a leveling spec as Combat for the exact same reasons you listed Combat as exceptional. You pick up the same talents to ease leveling, you roll recup and S&D, and you have an offensive cooldown.
In addition, on those longer fights, you can refresh your S&D while continuing to DPS normally.
If you are used to combat (and have the gear) stick with it, but don't discount daggers and Mutilate as a viable leveling option.
