Mar 23rd 2012 10:30PM Am I reading that right?
24.3% traveled UP TO 30 miles
75.7% traveled 100+ miles (100 miles or more)
24.3 + 75.7 = 100%
I know it is a minor thing compared to all the other flaws in the data, but are we expected to believe that nobody traveled a distance ranging from 31 to 99 miles? Nobody traveled 50 or 60? Just seems strange is all.
Mar 23rd 2012 12:08PM Dang! Green would have been my second guess.
Mar 23rd 2012 12:06PM You mean like in the way that rogues are yellow, druids are orange, mages are blue, etc...?
Good question. Not being in the beta, I don't know, but if I were guessing, I would say gray, mix of black and white to sort of show the light and dark chi forces. I know Blizz said they are getting away from that resource system, but it would still make for a good tie-in for the class, imo.
Mar 23rd 2012 11:50AM Chicago style would add agility, because I love Chicago dogs, and I play a rogue.
Chili dog: Haste (get outta my way, people. Fire in the Hole!!!)
Chicago style: Mastery (they are the masters of all other dogs.)
Ketchup, mustard, relish: Crit (as in, these are the most basic, or critical toppings, required to even make a dog edible.)
Toasted bun: Primary stat (like I was agil enough to trun the bun at the right time, or my fire mage used his intelligence to cast the spell that toasted it, or my warrior will use his strength to beat you senseless if you don't toast the damn bun!) Kind of a stretch I know, but we're just having fun, right?
Brats or Polish Sausage: Hit or Expertise (nuff said)
Sauerkraut (sp?): Used like a potion for a short term AP or SP buff.
Those are just a few ideas off the top of my head. What time is lunch?
Mar 23rd 2012 11:26AM Good quiz. I could only get 4, maybe 5 if I really put my mind to it, without googling
Mar 23rd 2012 11:00AM For the retruning player that will be focused on PVP: Healers Have to Die.
Simple. No fuss, no configuration needed. Download and next time you are in a BG, a big red cross appears over the heads of enemy healers, making them easy targets. A nice, easy way to get back into the add-on game.
Mar 22nd 2012 3:23PM "After all, when baby's gotta eat, baby's gotta eat; can't nurse three hours later just so you can do the hard mode first."
You said this backwards, Michael. What you actually meant is:
"After all, when baby's gotta eat, baby's gotta eat; can't put off the hard-mode for 3 hours so that you can raid first."
Raising a kid is the ultimate hard mode challenge. "Mom" or "Dad" is the best title you can ever hope to earn. Figuring out how to send him/her to college is "big-boy" theory-crafting.
And thus ends my mini-rant.
I'm actually really looking forward to MoP. As a casual that has had no time for raiding in Cata, I'm looking at MoP as a reset. The early days of Cata, the 5 mans were so time consuming, a new parent had no chance of finishing one, once you factor in queue time. Before long, I was behind the curve on gear, and my raiding days were over.
I think MoP will have a lot more options that casuals can really enjoy, including expanded LFR and PvP options.
Cata has been a complete disaster for me. I can't wait for MoP. It'll be like a brand new game.
Mar 21st 2012 3:40PM Woo-hoo! Stanley Cup playoffs are the best of any sport!
I just hope my Avs are able to keep up their late season push and make it in.
What website am I on?
Mar 13th 2012 8:09PM The next legendary should be Lock only:
The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.
They'll teach those bunnies a lesson!
Mar 11th 2012 2:56PM As Hardison would say:
"Age of the geek, baby."
