Mists of Pandaria: Female pandaren emotes and animation {WoW}

Mar 26th 2012 12:19PM Blizzard absolutely thinks the old models are worth fixing. They are totally committed to updating old models and mentioned during the MoP press event that dwarves would probably be in a good, updated place by the time MoP releases. However, they are taking their time with the updates in order to ensure that the old models come out looking as great as the Pandaren do. Plus, with all of the amazing content slated to come out with MoP, Blizz wanted to make sure they finished as much as possible before starting the intensive process of fixing old models. Be patient and give it some time. If the playerbase allows Blizz to take their time in fixing our models, I'm sure the end result will be much better than if they had rushed to get it done before MoP.

Mar 26th 2012 12:14PM Agree with you 100%. I would so much rather get a really thoughtful, careful upgrade of the old models than get a hurried attempt to make all the old races look better. The Pandaren are beautifully done and so expressive.

Breakfast Topic: Will your pandaren fit into your character naming convention? {WoW}

Mar 24th 2012 10:05AM I don't have much of a naming convention anymore, but I like to find unique and meaningful names. That said, my Pandaren hunter will be Shoots, and my monk will be Edamame. Both are too cute to pass up!

WoW Rookie: How to pick a good name when all the good ones are taken {WoW}

Nov 4th 2011 4:28PM I should probably mention that I have an entire server of alts named after Daft Punk sounding songs make great names

WoW Rookie: How to pick a good name when all the good ones are taken {WoW}

Nov 4th 2011 4:17PM When I started playing WoW, I had just come off several years of running a roleplaying forum. Many of the characters I'd developed had interesting names I found just perusing My hunter, Calixte, and my druid, Nenet, both got their names this way. I also name all my hunter's pets after deities in a variety of different mythologies. It's fun and really interesting to do the research. (Hunters are so weird about their pets...).

I'll admit, though, that when I first started my shaman, her name was Nenaught. I played her when I was frustrated with Nenet the resto druid. I recently name-changed Nenaught to Electroma, to reflect (in a totally obscure manner) my love of Daft Punk.
Others I named just for laughs. My DK is a Tauren female named Frostyfeets. After MoP was announced I hurriedly created a team of Bamboozle/Bamboozled and my boyfriend was absolutely over the moon when he learned that the name Oogway wasn't taken.
