Apr 3rd 2012 12:09PM I don't like pvp. To me, pve and pvp are two separate games and I'm interested in only one of them.
I've had friends in game try to "teach" me pvp and I think while this training was happening, they were waiting on something to click where I'd go, "Oh yeah, now I see what I was missing! I love this!". Not gonna happen. I'm just not interested in it.
I'm old enough to remember the arcade days of yore; Pacman, Centipede, Tron etc. One day there's this new machine brought in that had two giant dudes facing each other on screen and required two players to fight each other. Mortal Combat is the only name that comes to mind right now but there were others and I don't remember which was first. I thought those games were silly and I never played one. Pvp reminds of those games.
I want to play the game with you, playing against the game; not against you.
Mar 18th 2012 9:37AM Guild rep made no sense, makes no sense, and will forever be senseless. Why I/we would need to gain rep with...me/ourselves is plain stupid. Guild perks should be automatic; you have a guild, you have these. If some of the perks are perhaps a little too ...rewardy to be given away then remove them.
Mar 16th 2012 11:10AM I'd like to see MoP be less grindy. I understand Cata was a move to make the game a little harder after what some saw as the ease of Wrath. Although I am not one of those Wrath complainers, I'm ok with the game being a little "harder".
I think, however that making the game more grindy isn't the same as making it harder. "Grinding" is having to do something thats actually very easy, over and over and over again to derive the benefits it promises. Farming gathering mats, truegold, dreamcloth, Molten Front/Tol Borad dailies, Archaeology, epic gems, essences of destruction, Fireland rep, endless ZA/ZG runs were all examples of the excessive grinding that Cata required.
"Hard" is, well, hard; you might fail at it. Tier 11 raids and the initial heroic dungeons were kind of hard. I expect this in a game; hard is good.
"Grind", however, is bad and I'd LOVE to see less of it in MoP.
Mar 14th 2012 8:32PM I am perfectly NOT ok with being a rogue in plate. We already have Slice and Dice....now you want to give us Recuperation. No thanks!
Feb 15th 2012 1:19PM Stop the silly once a week limitation and allow ppl to roll whenever they kill a boss, like in heroic dungeons, which is what LFR really is anyway.
Aug 17th 2011 6:51PM Have you considered recording later in the week so that you don't miss any big news of the week? This has happened before, if I recall.
Aug 15th 2011 4:11PM I think the GM handled this pretty correctly. Its just a game. How much harm do you think could happen thru guild chat or vent? How has this person been behaving?
I think people are overreacting on this one. If anyone should be gkicked it would be the nosey sob that looked up this information in the first place and then spread it around.
If you feel uncomfortable playing a game with this person then you should quit the guild, quit the game, and dig yourself a little hole to stay in for the rest of your life because the world is full of people that do things you don't like/agree with and they don't always wear a sign.
Jun 17th 2011 6:11PM I believe the combined raid lockout has killed 25-man, guild-run pugs. I referring to a guild that can only produce 15-20 players and so pugged the rest. These "casual" guilds are now running 10-man only.
I learned how to raid as a pug. I miss it.
Jan 11th 2011 8:29AM I always hated group quests and don't miss them one bit!
