Reader UI of the Week: Crazyate's UI {WoW}

Apr 6th 2010 12:51PM Fu_Bar? People still use that?

Seriously though,
Dump Fu_bar... your playin on a laptop, so resources are at a premium. fu is a MEMORY HOG.
Replacement = NinjaPanel (www.wowinterface.com) and get some brokers.
also
Get Shadowed Unit frames (www.curse.com)

I would also recommend that you run with ONLY WHAT YOU NEED, & NOTHING MORE. Its a lappy... also, every time you hearth/zone in, it has to re-parse your addons folder.. so make your pc happy, clear out what you don't need.

The Lawbringer: Legal gold sales? Not a Blizzard's chance in Hell {WoW}

Mar 16th 2010 5:16PM Seriously,

Opening up the Selling/buying gold coffer is one of the worst ideas ever.......

The reason that Primal Sardonites (or epic fill in the blank for this gear reset) are around 2k and Battered Hilts are around 13k is that the economy has dictated that to be the point @ which people will purchace them.... go ahead, put a battered hilt on the ah for 20k, watch how many bids you get.....

If blizz makes buying gold available, you will see that number explode, with primals going for 15k and battered hilts for 40k.... cant afford it now, just go buy some gold.... yea, bad idea..

The reason that things settle according to a population is that gold has a "value", aka the time people are willing to farm up gold or "effort" v/s what they are willing to "throw away" aka spend of that time to buy what you are selling. So, as you add more gold into a population, the gold it-self becomes "Less Valueable", and prices go up.. So, nothing will change, except you will now have to buy gold in addition to paying blizz the monthly fee... AKA it will now cost 50k to raise an alt's trade skills instead of the 6k it takes now...

Two Bosses Enter: Eregos a finalist; Anub'Arak faces Ymiron {WoW}

Feb 3rd 2010 6:52PM quote alexurface1 = "i would think yimron wins b/c of his dark slash if he gets 2 of those in there anub's down..."

Dark slash = 1/2 of the targets CURRENT health.

Yim could chain cast this, and will never kill anub... 50% of 50% still leaves you with 25% of your starting health, isn't math wonderful?

But yea, I go with Yim.. if it was TOC Anub, then Anub all the way.

Patch 3.3 PTR: Speedier Northrend reputation grinds [Updated] {WoW}

Oct 16th 2009 7:09PM wow, they are really catering to the casual player. Looks like its almost, play for a while, then cancel account for the first year of the new expansion. Come back when the expansion is almost over.. Login and enjoy your free epics that people have been grinding for hours on end week after week.

Kinda like it though, seeing as i abandoned my horde toons for this expansion, so plan to gear them up in full t9 through heroics until i get "Geared enough for next expansion". Should only take about 3 weeks or so to do that..

Patch 3.3 PTR: Craftable nature resist gear {WoW}

Oct 6th 2009 11:54AM Wow, all the qq for something that has been in the game since the beginning.. They do it every expansion, and will continue to do so.. Are u surprised? If you are, back to the kiddie table.

Blizzard is in buissness for 1 thing... TO MAKE MONEY.

And there was a time that they made it a skill/gear check to progress without resistance gear, it was called Sunwell, and everyone QQ'ed then too seeing as only the very best players actually completed it pre-nurf. But what happened? It got nurfed into the ground so almost any scrub guild could stumble through it.

Same thing is going to happen here... If you don't like it... Just suspend your account for about 3 months.. Come back, and it will be nurfed to the point where u can stumble through it in heroic gear with a pug.......

Around Azeroth: Preecher's big day {WoW}

Oct 19th 2006 2:27PM Uldaman sucks. And the end boss has been a buggy encounter since beta. I know most people only do the quests that only cover about 3/4 of the instance. I know that I avoid that place like the plague that it is. Except for enchanter runs.
