Jan 9th 2011 2:26AM Thanks bsgfan2003...funny seeing you on a different forum lol They should also try and get James Callis, playing a different character, since Baltar wouldn't have been born. Perhaps his father who turns out to be more than the young Baltar ever knew. And the final five. They don't simply make their way to Caprica. They stop off at the Algae planet first, rediscover the temple built by their 13th tribe ancestors, and program it to show whoever steps onto the circle the identity of the final five, and at the same time, Sam Anders is probably still being guided by a head character, which would be an opportunity to explain who and what the head characters are. What BSG absolutely needs though, is a showrunner that has a strong vision about where the series is going, and it needs Syfy to appreciate that Ron Moore's BSG universe is like Blade Runner, a masterpiece of the genre that will last for a very long time.
Jan 8th 2011 6:36PM BSG Blood and Chrome could tell the story of what happened to the Graystones using flashbacks, when not focussing on the cylon war at hand. Would the cylons necessarily go after the Graystones, if Zoe had finally made her peace with them, and the centurions all seem to have traces of Zoe's consciousness in them? Then again, there is the big question of what happens to Zoe. And what happens to Tamra? And where did the significant eight come from? Were they human to begin with, then v-world avatars, then given skin-job bodies (later to be given synthetic DNA cylon bodies by the final five)? In BSG, when Leoben tells Roslin that Adama is a cylon, seemingly just fracking with her head, it turns out to be a half truth, given that we now know Adama's half sister Tamra was one of the original v-world cylons, and if the Graystones created a skin-job body for Zoe, there was nothing stopping them doing the same for Tamra. As for Sam Adama, he's a hit man, and Tauron mobster, but expressed a lot of interest in joining the Tauron resistence, which could easily lead him to eventually join the Capricans in the war against the cylons. If Samuel Anders, pyramid player / final five cylon could also become a resistence fighter, the same could be of Sam Adama, Tauron gangster, uncle of a cylon. Anyway, it's in the hands of the BSG writers now :)
Jan 8th 2011 12:55PM I think Nico Cortez for the young Adama, Brian Austin Green for Fasjovik, and Dichen Lachman for Beka. I'd also like to see the main actors from Caprica in appear in Blood and Chrome, older obviously.
Dec 10th 2010 1:08PM I have a cool idea for priests and other healers. Allow them to track players that have died and need to be resurrected. In a dungeon it can sometimes be frustrating not seeing where a player's corpse is. It'd be much easier if healers (or any characters class with the ability to res) had the ability to track player corpses.
Oct 18th 2010 6:37PM How could Blizzard release such a bug ridden patch? My pc keeps crashing. It's beyond annoying. Will Blizzard extend Hallow's End to compensate for the inability to do the dungeon part of the event?
Aug 10th 2010 5:12PM Will hunter's weapons ever have different sound effects? I'd like to see the guns, especially, sound different from one another, just as spellcaster wands sound different from one another depending on the type of damage they do.
Will hunter's traps change? Within dungeons, they're only really useful if you run into the crowd, lay one, and jump back out of the frey. But I have a better idea. Why not have the pet deliver the trap? Select the trap, apply it to the pet, and then the pet runs in and lays the trap, then continues fighting, while you're free to fire from a distance.
Will demonology warlocks be able to metamorphose permanantly, akin to the shadow priest's shadow form, with the equivalent spell bonus / spell restriction? It would make sense.
In demon form, will locks be able to make use of those wings, at least for gliding?
Is anything going to happen with the warlock teleportation? I hardly ever use it, and it seems to be something that needs to be rethought.
Will locks ever be able to tame their own demon of choice, like a hunter? (wishful thinking). To make it fare, the number of pets a hunter has could be increased to equal that of locks.
Jun 25th 2010 7:17AM I'm personally really bored with WoW's old generation graphics. I've just finished playing God of War 3, and the contrast between the current 'next generation' graphics and WoW's old direct x 8 graphics is shocking. I know that there will be some improvements in Cataclysm, and I know that comparing a single player game with a MMO isn't a true comparison, but it still draws attention to just how old WoW's graphics are.
I think it would be arrogant to assume that WoW is indestructable. Yes, there a million things it does right, which is why I still play it. But if an MMO comes along that does everything that WoW does, but bigger, better, and with incredible graphics, I would switch. Will Final Fantasy XIV be that game?
Jun 1st 2010 5:15PM What I'd like to see is single player arenas. It might take me longer to get the gear, if single player arenas confer fewer arena points, but it would still save me having to search for arena team mates. And surely player versus player, class versus class is the true essence of PvP (player versus player, singular, not players versus players plural). Single player PvP is the ultimate test of the player and the class.
May 27th 2010 10:30AM I have a great idea for hunters. Instead of laying the trap, and waiting for the enemy to come to you, which is never guaranteed since the pet automatically runs ahead to aggro the enemy, why not have the pet deliver the trap to the enemy? You fire. Pet runs ahead and aggros the enemy and drops the trap, which then triggers. Donations for my awesome idea welcome. Gold preferred.
