Aug 18th 2010 11:18AM First off, this UI is definitely on the right track.
In response to Nipah, the raid bars is Healbot. They need to float or else you'd be staring at the side of the screen the entire time, completely missing everything going on. I think the healbot frames should be as close to your character as you can without covering up any IceHUD bars. This way you'll be quicker to react to what's going on in front of you. Also, I think three columns, instead of two, for healbot is easier to navigate. It's easier to move the cursor left and right than up and down.
Concerning healbot, give VuhDo a try. It's more powerful. You also don't need Clique with either VuhDo or Healbot. Also, consider what you need to know as a healer in a boss fight. You need to know who needs heals and what's going on in the fight. Therefore, I think your DBM bars should be on the left. Otherwise, you either need to constantly look back and forth or ignore the DBM bars altogether.
Other suggestions (some have already been mentioned) is to compress your Satrina and Skada frames. You can adjust Satrina in many ways so that your buffs/debuffs are right next to each other. Skada can be reduced and compressed to show only six or seven bars. It's rare you ever need to see ten or more.
One more thing. Is SexyCooldown distracting? Do you have to keep watching it? You might consider trying out TellMeWhen instead and placing it more in your field of view. Having to look down to see crucial procs and cooldowns while you are healing and navigating a boss fight could divert your attention for a bit too long.
Jun 14th 2010 4:19PM I had the same problem and I think it may have been related to the Cartographer addon. Try uninstalling that. You might also try installing the Cartographer Replacement addon pack.
