Jan 26th 2012 1:37PM We also have to remember just where the Alliance and Horde come from. The races in the Alliance (Draenei excluded) have been on Azeroth for thousands of years. Although the playerbase may not reflect it, lore-wise the Horde is composed mostly of Orcs and they are new to Azeroth. To me, it makes sense that they are the ones who are going to fight to take land and start a crap ton of ruckus. The Alliance has had to fight to survive against demons and invading forces that want to kill them, yes, but not against an enemy looking to stay. The Horde is filled with races trying to make a home in a place that doesn't want them.
I won't argue against Blizz bias, but from a lore standpoint, it makes sense to me.
Also, the Horde is filled with the 'underdog' races. Everyone wants to root for the underdog. Eventually people will see the Alliance as the Underdogs and biases will shift.
Jan 3rd 2012 1:05PM The Maelstrom was already weakened from the Sundering. and when Deathwing needed to get out of Deephom, it was just the easiest place for the big DW to break through. We, the players, already fixed the whole Deepholm/Maelstrom thing when we fixed the World Pillar, that big whirling vortex is still a weak point for all the energies of the various universes to come crashing into each other.
Oct 4th 2011 10:50PM Actually, Resto druids have been suffering in arena with this expansion. With being CC'd and target switches/focuses, the 6 cooldowns it takes to start any real healing has hit us pretty heavily. Resto Druids aren't even included in most team comps anymore.
This is all arena talking, I haven't looked at RBattleGrounds.
Oct 4th 2011 1:11PM You have to think of the timelines as different realities. The whole point of the new instances (and the Bronze Dragonflight in general) is to watch all the different outcomes from the different timelines and try to make the best one happen. So even if we go ahead or back in time to change things, it shouldn't affect the timeline our characters are living.
Except for when it does. In which case, see the header video.
Aug 31st 2011 10:18PM I get that you're trying to be funny while making a point but...
-A left handed person isn't beat up in school for being left handed.
-A left handed person is allowed to marry other left handed people.
-A left handed person can grow up without being told that they are going to hell for being left handed.
-A left handed person isn't told, "Oh I guess you can serve in the military, as long as you don't tell anyone that you're left handed, or do anything left hand.
Being gay has a much bigger impact than being left handed. And it would be nice if Blizz recognized that a noticeable portion of their subs are dealing with a whole lot of pain and hassle for something that isn't a big deal. Instead we get nods and maybe a brief hint of innuendo (if you squint) and *not a single* explicitly stated homosexual relationship. No man saying, "I love so and so, go rescue him for me." No woman that says, "I can't live without her, help me get her back."
When kids start killing themselves for being left handed, I would also want to see Blizz give some nod to the suffrage of the left handed people.

The Red Cross is great in that it doesn't use all its funding on one place. Japan might be the big one, but the Red Cross is still over in Haiti helping, as well as doing what they can for downtrodden families in America.
Nov 5th 2010 1:02PM Shaman don't commune with the elements themselves, but with spirits of the elements. What this has to do with Night Elves, I have no idea.
Nov 3rd 2010 1:12PM Careful, make sure you tell everyone its NSFW, or they'll have a long self righteous discussion about it.
Sep 21st 2010 9:37PM I understand where you guys are coming from, but remember that the 'demons' the Warlocks use aren't demons from hell, they're aliens from different realms that the Burning Legion found. Demons were just the name that people in WoW gave to them. Nowhere in the bible does it say 'thou shall not commune with your voidwalker or use it as a sacrifice to stop that rogue from ganking on you.'

...Affliction Warlocks are what? Your court jesters?
