Apr 4th 2012 4:30AM Blood actually received nerfs to their damage on their main spells so they do about half their damage. So both Deathstrike and Heartstrike are hitting for less those playing the home game. While I'm sad to see this we kinda asked for it when 10 dks rode into FL and downed heroic Ragnaros. They couldn't attack survivability without breaking us or our already active mitigation design so they nerfed our damage so we'll be seeing enrage timers. Sometimes just because we can doesn't mean we should. =P
As for 2h vs dw I don't claim to know the difference but I'm sure there's a nuance difference between the two. One might see more Killing Machine procs while the other does higher damage but less procs to balance out. So right here I'll say it's probably for the best for Killing Machine to be kinda random. They make it less random and they'll have to nerf Oblit and Frost Strike (not frost so going from memory) to even out.
Segueing into Shadowfrost, not EVERY ability shared between unholy and frost should be shadowfrost. Big later spells that are shared like Necrotic Strike and Soul Reaper sure. Both have their uses and Soul Reaper itself will probably see a lot more when we get it. But I am of the perspective that baseline death knights have a lot of shadow based spells like death coil and death and decay. Going frost you learn frost based equivalents like Froststrike and Howling Blast while still keeping the same shadow based ones. If early death knights had more frost damage spells instead of just icy touch I could see this having some greater support. I'm all for keeping the two even but because of what I mentioned just above it just sounds like frost trying to get a nice chunk of the unholy pie after they got their own to eat.
Apr 2nd 2012 7:15PM I think ppl are reading too much into the "I'm a demon" part of Mannoroth. This is the same Mannoroth that dies in the Third War to Grom Hellscream. So he actually gets beat not once but twice. And by 3-5 major lore figures if you want to include Thrall or Malfurion. Godfrey only died so he wouldn't become a worgen so he jumped off a cliff. Then he came back to undeath and shot Sylvanas and got away with it practically. Let's not forget Godfrey isn't alone in this fight.
So Illidan takes Mannoroth mano-y-mano at first as usual. Tyrande pew pews demons. Godfrey looks at Varo'then and chuckles. Raises a pistol at his opponent's face and confuses him since Varo'then has never seen one before. Varo'then is ready to charge but is stopped by his sudden lead buffet. Setting his sights on the Pit Lord Godfrey starts his assault and looks for any weaknesses to exploit since nothing he will do will grab the demon's attention. Tyrande is suddenly debilitated by demons and now an army goes unchecked. Godfrey summons his own legion of ghouls while he aids the priestess if to only aid himself. With Tyrande back on her feet Godfrey continues his assault on Mannoroth, exploiting weak spots he found earlier. Demons appear in greater number. Godfrey summons more ghouls and uses a barrage of pistol fire to keep them at bay. The Pit Lord largely unaware due to the Demonhunter mocking his every blow. By the time Illidan casts his ubertime spell Mannoroth is exhausted. But now he can feel another approaching. This time it is someone else making his way up his armor. It a demonic energy fueled Godfrey come to deliver a flurry of pistol fire in the demon's face, interrupting Mannoroth once and for all and Godfrey claims the win.

"You can take my freedom. But you can never take MY HAIR CARE PRODUCTS!!!"
Mar 27th 2012 1:23AM I didn't know you could mind control a crazy dragon.
Mar 19th 2012 3:14AM And I was starting to like Garrosh too. At least give me the story of why I'm killing him in game and maybe I'll enjoy it. Could be as fun as Wrathgate.
Mar 19th 2012 3:06AM Now I am pleased with this but one thought crossed my mind: "They're gonna look a bit like Ewoks?" Again, pleased. Just a thought I had.
Mar 16th 2012 6:26PM didn't need to watch it and now i'm singing that to myself
Mar 13th 2012 2:30AM So once again we are amidst a pool of lava with four floating platforms. The only difference is there is no Illidan this time but he isn't needed for Baine to take down this mage. With a long enough match the platforms will collapse leaving no where for Jaina to even intelligently blink to. When that happens I wouldn't want to be anywhere around his axe.
Mar 6th 2012 1:02AM There are 3 reasons why Godfrey takes this:
1) He has the popular vote. Just admit that you like him and press the button for him now. Those that need convincing go to point 2.
2) The mechanics for both bosses are decently matched until you remember Godfrey has two pistols and a mini ghoul army as opposed to a single spam spell, a limited duration snare, and elementals that have as much aim as Thrall during Asira's fight.
3) Simply in terms of lore Godfrey is superior. He's intelligent, conniving, and simply put he can ACTUALLY kill the person he sets his guns to. If he can kill a beloved, while homicidal, faction leader and Arcurion can't even seriously hurt one that has become really over played this expansion and now really annoying because we have to escort him in TWO dungeons now then that's just proof he can handle one of the last ice ascendants.
Feb 29th 2012 7:11PM Sadly I do insult such ppl like man #5. As well as other asshats but I do try to make it quick and in a way there is no comeback. If not then at least its something to do while defending.
