Of monks, mains, and the ability to change {WoW}

Apr 2nd 2012 4:35PM Anne,

I think we are very much alike in the fact that I can't ever see myself changing mains. I started a Hunter when I first started playing in BC. After a few months of playing, I thought it was way too easy, so I rolled a Paladin (Tank) and a Priest (Healer). I leveled them to 80 along with a Warlock.

My wife had joined a guild in the meantime and was raiding twice a week. I had never raided, but they needed a Hunter for their group, so I finished leveling him to 80, geared him up, and joined. After raiding a few times, I was hooked, and started researching my class to squeeze every drop of DPS I could out of him. I have since realized that it is easy to play a Hunter, just not easy to play one well.

I don't think I will ever change now, even though ALL my alts are max level and raid ready. :o)

Scattered Shots: Mists of Pandaria raid buff changes and hunters {WoW}

Seriously? No Ammo. Pets auto level to 85. More homogenizing of raid buffs.

What, NO Battle Rez too?

Please STOP!

Blizzard committed to keeping a sense of community {WoW}

Mar 13th 2012 4:30PM Blizz,

I for one agree that most of the sense of community is gone in favor of an "instant gratification" world that you have bred in-game yourselves. You have made almost every aspect of the game cater to the this philosophy.

There are always alternatives, but you have to put on your work pants to make it happen.

Options. Plain and simple. Give players options. For example:

Allow players two ways to que for Raids/Dungeons. One with your server, one with ALL servers. It may take longer in the first option, but some people would like to play with people on their server. Most of us don't want to sit in a major city spamming trade, and this would allow players to continue doing other things while waiting for a local group to form. I for one would love this option. (I know it would take longer to form)

Ken

Blue Posts and Other WoW News: Mature language filter fix in patch 4.3.2 {WoW}

Jan 10th 2012 2:16AM It astonishes me how many people feel the need to be able to read, and know that others can read, the useless use of profanity.

Breakfast Topic: How do you decide which is your main? {WoW}

Jan 3rd 2012 12:43PM Well, my first toon was a Hunter. I decided that they are way too easy to play, so I rolled a Paladin Tank, a Priest Healer, and a Warlock. After each of them getting a few months as my "so-called" main, I have gone back to my Hunter and never looked back.

Hi, my name is Ken, and I am a Hunter.
