Dear Greatfather,

I wish everyone had enough gold so we wouldn't be bothered by spammers and farmers.

Around Azeroth: Would you be prepared if gravity reversed itself? {WoW}

May 31st 2007 12:41PM Actually, its a very poorly doctored image. I can see where he cut and pasted two images, using a straight-edged cut, not even anti-aliased. In my opinion, very poor. And do doctored images count for a good screen shot? No.

Forum post of the day: Statements that make you leave a group {WoW}

Mar 30th 2007 11:42AM Anything along the lines of "Hey, thats/you// is gay."

Its a quick, "You mind, that's offenseive, I happen to be gay."

If anyone follows up with, "I don't mean homosexual," or tries to defend their statement, I leave.

Of course, I leave if people are being dumb and cause us to wipe, or I will even excuse myself if I happen to have a bad night or realize I don't have the proper gear to tank a higher instance. I caused a wipe twice in a group, and the second time apologized, stating I just didn't feel like I could handle the instance at the moment.

Healing classes and DPS gear in raids {WoW}

Dec 14th 2006 12:02PM OK, so I have a 60 priest and a 60 warrior. You know when I get asked to raid, I always get a request to bring my priest, because there aren't many healers hanging around. I "take one for the team" all the time, going is as healer because there are so few. I never get to DPS, so all my DKP goes for healing gear while my warrior is doing nothing except holding one purple.

healers need help if they heal exclusively. By not giving them something for DPS when they want to PvP or whatever, and not helping when they ask... hrm, I wonder why my guild has fewer and fewer healers.

Breakfast Topic: Carebear or Ruthless Ganker? {WoW}

Oct 24th 2006 11:01AM After reading a bunch of these posts, I have come to th econclusion that people who play on PvP servers fall into one of these categories:

1) You truely enjoy the challenge.
2) You're 5 years old and want to feel powerful.
3) You made a mistake and joined with friends, not knowing any better.
4) You're a total jerk, looking for nothing but making yourself feel better.
- or -
5) You're a Republican.

Breakfast Topic: Carebear or Ruthless Ganker? {WoW}

Oct 23rd 2006 9:07AM I always read stuff about PvP, and I notice there is alot of "I try to" and "I usually don't, but..." Just admit it, if you are on a PvP server, the only reason you are there is to annoy other people to the biggest extent you can.

There is no personal honor in killing someone more than once, even if they /rude you or try and get back up to watch over them. That's just them being annoyed at you killing them beyond the honor you get (if any).

Carebear is also an offensive term to those of us on PvE's. Just because some of us don't want to have to spend half our gaming time corpse running doesn't mean we're weak or soft. I do PvP on my server in the grounds, and I'm pretty good at it.

PvP usually brings out the worst in human nature, consider: "That group has a few people who grief me, so I'll turn and grief them all." If you want to PvP on a server devoted to it, fine. But don't cover up your own little demons by trying to smooth it over with, "It happens to me, so I do it to them."
