Breakfast Topic: What moments in WoW would you like to relive? {WoW}

Dec 7th 2011 5:15PM (Darn it posted this in the wrong place :( oh the shame, oh well, copy/pasting here)

One big wow! moment for me was during my first play through of WoW, I had been leveling in Duskwood, loving the creepy atmosphere and even freaked out by it at times. Looking at my map however i notice my questing had taken me to every place on the zone except that odd mountain ring in the middle...

Finally finding the road in, and going past that night elven arch into that nebulous enchanted forest, so different from dead and dreary Duskwood was amazing, I just stood there for a good five minutes drinking it all in.

BlizzCon 2011: Mists of Pandaria trailer {WoW}

Oct 22nd 2011 11:35PM On an entirely personal note: I have to say I'm quite a bit disappointed, I do find Chinese culture fascinating but...for me at least it just doesn't seem to have that WoW feel...

Maybe this IS a huge marketing ply to reap in subscriptions from China? Maybe Blizz just wants to take us away from the constant gloom and doom of previous expansions? I don't know...Not playing WoW at the moment, will wait to see how things unfold.

In my mind at least as someone who first heard of Warcraft playing WC III. WoW's story came full circle with the Lich King's death, the rest for me is just filler. Maybe its time to move one to another game...or maybe this expansion will utterly surprise me and make me want to play all over again...I guess we'll see.

Breakfast Topic: What's the longest you've ever farmed for something? {WoW}

Sep 30th 2011 2:24PM Don't know if rep farming counts but:

I've been killing those bird people in Terokkar forest for almost 2 years, doing their dailies both there and in Blade's Edge collecting the reagents to kill their boss...

And now, FINALLY I have my Nether-ray mount, the fact I can also turn into an Arakkoa is just icing on the cake

Breakfast Topic: What was your moment of awe in WoW? {WoW}

Sep 10th 2011 2:37AM The moment I clicked on "enter world" with my first character ever, a human paladin, and be treated to the glorious chorus that is the Stormwind theme, having the Sun shine on the Cathedral of Light as the camera pans out to the huge statues of the valley of heroes, I knew little of who they were then, but from that moment on I was forever awed with both WoW and the Alliance

Datamining Cataclysm's legendary staff {WoW}

Feb 28th 2011 12:43AM I wonder...the "eye" part in the name makes me think of the Eye of Dalaran...isnt it supposedly lost? Maybe Deathy found it and assembled into a staff somehow?

The WoW Insider Show: LIVE! {WoW}

Feb 21st 2011 3:41PM You owe us a webcam on the next live show guys! >:)

Still great fun, got Kazoos and the engineering song and even Anne (tho at the end)
All in all you're still my favorite podcast out there, keep it up!

Breakfast Topic: What's your favorite piece of music in WoW? {WoW}

Feb 16th 2011 2:28PM I used to love the short but beautiful melody that played whenever you entered the cathedral district in Stormwind. Every time I heard it, even tho Im not much of a rp'er, I felt compelled to /kneel for a few moments before being on my way.

Sadly it seems they've done away with it in Cata. Don't get me wrong I love the new Cataclysm songs, but I miss that sensation it used to evoke in me whenever I heard it.

Breakfast Topic: What part of you does your character represent? {WoW}

Jan 18th 2011 10:02AM Ive always been fascinated by science and the workings of the world we live in. So I guess, in a world fueled by magic like Azeroth, my mage represents the hunger for knowledge within me.

Hes cold and analytical, struggling to keep his emotions from clouding his judgment as he delves deeper into the arcane arts.

Also as a mage, I think he epitomizes the saying: Knowledge is power

Lord of His Pack live at Blizzard's community site {WoW}

Jan 14th 2011 5:36PM Beautiful storytelling! Well worth missing over two 40+min dungeon finder lines to read and re-read!

In fact, I'm not bothered at all about missing the lines, because I'm rolling a worgen alt the moment I finish typing this :D

For Gilneas!
