Breakfast Topic: What's your favorite pet? {WoW}

Apr 4th 2012 11:17AM Way back after Vanilla launched, I learned you could get a red whelp from dragonkin in the Wetlands. This was before there were many flight paths, I didn't have a mount and my shaman had just made it I into the 20s, but I simply HAD to have that little guy.

2 days later after farming a cumulative total of about 5 hours, and gaining 2 levels, he dropped! I was so ecstatic and he has been my constant companion over these past 7+ years. It was one of the best days in the game when they made pets capable of flying alongside you andI even got exalted with Wyrmrest so that I could get a larger version of him to ride!

He's been with me through Molten Core, and the Burning Crusade. He was with me when we invaded Icecrown, and was there when i helped strike the killing blow to Deathwing. No other pet could ever replace my whelpling.

Mar 13th 2012 11:57AM Any addons that you download and use can all be disabled before people log in to their toons, you shouldn't need to worry about any addons you install changing the interface for other toons on the same account.

I would recommend against writing down any bindings you change, just change 1 or 2 at a time and get used to those before making new ones, that way you have memorize the much more quickly. Before you know it you can hit that bind without even looking away from your screen but if you write them down, that's just another thing distracting you from your screen which is counter-productive to making a bind in the first place.

Possibilities for the Pandaren mount {WoW}

Feb 21st 2012 5:24PM [Drunken Stumble]

After casting, you black out for an unspecified amount of in-game time and wake up at a random destination with a raging headache, having no idea how you got there in the first place.

Chance on cast to randomly end up somewhere you didn't want to be.

Heart of the Aspects mount now available for $25 {WoW}

Totem Talk: 5 ways to look like a bad restoration shaman {WoW}

Feb 14th 2012 2:28PM I've NEVER rolled on something in LFR that wasn't a direct upgrade for the spec I queued with.

I've rolled on stuff for off-spec plenty of times in 5-mans, but I usually ask first unless it's obviously something no one else can use. (Spell mail with no other shammy in the group.)

Have reforging demands become too complex? {WoW}

Jan 31st 2012 2:55PM These days I simultaneously *DREAD* and *LOVE* getting new pieces of gear for this exact reason, along with the necessity of gemming and enchanting. I haven't been doing dailies and this stuff gets expensive!

The Queue: Adorable baby giraffe, take 2 {WoW}

Dec 19th 2011 2:41PM I was recently in a group on my mage doing deadmines. The healer didn't seem to be able to keep the tank alive but somehow we made it to Foe Reaper. After the tank pulls Foe Reaper on the bottom area, we actually pull off the kill; I check the healer, he's in PVP gear. I didn't check the tank, but I'm thinking - no wonder the healer's having trouble keeping the tank up.

The rest of the group decides to kick the tank, which I vote against, but we got a new tank right away. Bam - no more problems for the rest of the run.
