Nov 7th 2008 8:19AM Ya I want one too...
Jul 11th 2008 7:28AM Oops. Should have read all the comments first. ^^redundant post^^
Jul 11th 2008 7:26AM Corpse explosion is really not that new at all. It is a spell teh Necromancer used in Diablo 2.
Apr 15th 2008 8:15AM I am with Internode who run a wow gateway and so my norma ping is now around the low 200s rather than the mid 400s, but even so the server (Caelestraez) has been very flaky since 2.4.
I am also irritated by the fact that maintenance is at peak time. Tonight the server went down for "extended maintenance" at 7:30pm and won't be back up again until 3am. So no WoW for me tonight. I think that is QQ worthy...
Apr 1st 2008 7:31AM "The Nether Residue is a pain to try and get for a miner. I wish every node had at least 1 residue in it."
Totally disagree with this. With most nodes you get around 3 hits and that is 3 chances at a nether residue without having to move. I in fact have gotten 2 off the same node. Whereas a herbie has but one chance a residue per "node". Like wise a skinner. Miners have it best IMHO.
Mar 21st 2008 8:46AM I have 4 level 70's and they each have an epic flyer. None of them paid by bought gold. There is really no need. I do not spend a lot of time farming and in fact when I do it is for mats rather than gold and I don't do a lot of dailies. In fact I really do not go out of my way to make gold. My main is an enchanter and I DE stuff and sell the mats. I buy cheap stuff off the AH to do so but since I switched servers to a new server there hasnt been much to buy.
Gold is just so easy to get legitimately that there really is no need to buy it. Then again I often see so many people who complain they have no gold for repairs. I really cannot understand how people can fail that badly at this game.
Anyway, back OT, I think people buy gold because they are lazy even though the amount of effort required isnt really that much at all.
Apr 30th 2007 12:31AM I have just joined the hunter ranks myself and have been reading BRK for a few weeks now, but one thing I don't get is why it is "BigRedKitty". Hobbes ins't red.
Frostsaber Pride Watcher are purple. Granted "BigPurpleKitty" does not sound as catchy, but at least it is accurate!
Apr 26th 2007 9:32PM I don't delete characters. Who knows what the future holds? If nothing else, a unused character (complete with big bags and multiple bank slots) is a useful mule.
If and when I delete characters it will ONLY be because I have reached the 10/50 limit and I need the slot for a new alt.
If/when I leave the game, I will leave toons untouched. If I am confident I won't return I may give away my gold, as that is easy to replace if I ever came back. The toons and the gear is not so easy to replace.
Apr 19th 2007 1:10AM I (a Shadow Priest) was once in group doing the elite hinterland quests. We had two warriors in the group. I asked who will be MT. One piped up and said he would. So off we go. But then I notice that he is using a 2-hander. I am blowing my mana, chain healing him.
So I ask him to put his shield on and get into defensive stance. His answer? "I don't have a shield".
So I turn to the other warrior and suggest he tanks. "I don't have a shield either". I stuck around for a while as I done like bailing but after the second wipe, I left. I wished I had left at "I don't have a shield".
Or how about a lock leading an SM group who demands that I heal his life tap damage. I said refused.
I didn't have to leave that group, as he booted me. The group imploded from there. The warrior whispered me afterwards and apologised (not that he had anything to apologise for) and thereafter we levelled together for the next 30 levels (until he left the game).
I joined a guild late in life and so for the last couple of months I have not been in a PuG. Can't say I miss it...
