Meet the Bloggers: Basil "Euripides" Berntsen {WoW}

Jul 20th 2011 3:06PM Anyone that's ever listened to the Hunting Party Podcast would know Basil's a thoughtful guy, with forthright opinions and a sense of humor. That said, none of that personality comes across in this article AT ALL. It kinda looks like he was forced to write it, didn't want to, and did a petulant job of it. Too bad, because the above is really not the Basil that the Hunter community sees on his blog and in his podcasts.

Arcane Brilliance: Assorted patch 4.1 thoughts {WoW}

Apr 30th 2011 8:50PM Thanks, all who answered. I now feel like I'm an expert in Ignite munching, and am greatly amused to boot. I must remember to ask questions in Mage articles more often.

Arcane Brilliance: Assorted patch 4.1 thoughts {WoW}

Apr 30th 2011 8:19PM I've never played a Mage, so I must ask: can someone explain what Ignite munching is?

It sounds terribly naughty.

Breakfast Topic: Elementals vs. Zombies -- which event was better? {WoW}

Dec 6th 2010 8:41AM Zombies.

The Cata launch just kinda fell flat, timing-wise. It started insidiously, built momentum, had good questlines, new instances & bosses with decent loot. Then The Shattering! Should have been awesome!

And then next came: nothing. Besides a few new race/class combos and new starting zones.

It mostly felt like potential not fulfilled. I think the main reason has been this 2 week lag between the Shattering and the actual launch. It robbed the launch of any momentum. People went and rolled alts, farmed long-tired Wrath heroics for justice points, and kinda just put everything on hold waiting for Dec 7.

Thanks for another awesome article.

Oct 20th 2010 4:34PM Arrazius the Cruel!!

For me, this is it. He was such a source of frustration in my Hellfire Peninsula days. The quest "Overlord" rewarded my first blue trinket, and he stood steadfastly in my way.

I still go kick his but now, every month or so. Jerkface.

Breakfast Topic: How much of your played time is really played? {WoW}

Jul 9th 2010 8:23AM I wish there was a /circled command, to tell me how many hours I have spent aimlessly and unconsciously circling Dalaran.
