Reader UI of the Week: Germany represents with Viday's UI {WoW}

May 24th 2011 5:36PM Totally agree. I have my health, mana and enemy health, mana, spell casting bars up around the center of the screen. When I am in a fight, I just have to move my eyes just the slightest amount to get full status of me or the enemy.

Anything that is non-critical, I put at the bottom or in the top corners.

Patch 4.1: Combat log addons cause framerate issues {WoW}

Apr 26th 2011 5:39PM As much as I want to run home and play 4.1, reports like this make me realize that I should wait a couple of days before playing so that all the addons I use are updated, causing as little frustration with me as possible.

Drama Mamas: What to do after inappropriate chat between wife and guildie {WoW}

Apr 22nd 2011 2:40PM While I am married, my wife does not play WoW. So, I may only be half qualified to give advice on this subject.

You need to keep working on your marriage every day. You don't get married and live happily ever after, that's just BS. If your wife is flirting or running to another guy, it's because you are not giving her a reason to stay in the marriage. She has some need that needs to be filled and you are not filling it. Sit down and talk to her and find out what it is. Turn off the computer, the TV and start talking. When you are done talking, then you need to decide if you are able to fill that need. I know, sounds dumb, but some people get married and for some reason, they grow in different directions. It just happens.

The other thing you need to do after talking to the wife is tell the other guy you know what is going on. It's a bit of a weak tactic, but a lot of guys will stop flirting with other peoples wives when they get caught and get confronted. It's a Man thing.

Drama Mamas: The case of the gold-selling guildie {WoW}

Jan 14th 2011 3:56PM This is what we call a Gray Area of Morality, and it just turns out that Life is full of this stuff.

Honestly, I don't see this issue as an issue. He is not doing it because he wants to or he is going to get rich, but because he has to in order to play WoW. It seems like he is not making a lot of money from it and he is only selling to friends. Him using Guildie Cool Downs is a just a way for other guildie's to help him out so he can keep playing. If people do not like him or what he does, then they should not help him out.

Now, if this guy were making a good money money from this or he was the head of vast Gold Farming Empire, I would think different. However, he is just some guy on Disability making a little money so he can keep playing with his friends. No Big Deal. Yes, it is against the rules, but life is full of people breaking minor rules so they can do something which has a positive benefit to a few people and causes no harm to society or the people in it.

Call for Submissions: Best and worst ways to vet puggers {WoW}

Jul 9th 2010 9:35PM Does anyone know of an add-on that will help manage PuGs?
Something that would help with; Keeping track of PuG'ers, Let you keep notes on people, Reminders not to invite certain people back, Invites, Who has received gear, When they have ran with you and Grab gear list of possible invites.

I have a whole wish list....
