Jan 24th 2011 3:58PM A similar situation happened in our guild a while ago...
We are a RPing guild, we had a rather unique theme at the time, and we had some guidelines that people had to follow. Yet one day, a member happened to break those guidelines, and it resulted in a gkick, within the hour, he had created his own guild with the exact same theme, he tried to get our members into his guild. Thankfully, it didn't last long.
Now... the second time it was different. This one person tried to both In-Character and Out-of-Character undermine the GM's authority, eventually getting to the point that he and his posse gquit and made their own guild. This guild wasn't just doing the exact same thing, but they were in the same area, but they almost got to the point where they were griefing us. One of the things that -really- stings is that the "defector", was a close friend who was responsible for getting -me- ranked up in the guild in the first place.
Now, an expansion later, I find that they are going out to whatever guilds -we- had contact with and tried to get them in some sort of a "Mass guild alliance", it worked for a lot of it, and now we are in a rut while they are thriving.
I guess I just needed to rant, and since it's on this topic... I might as well do it here rather than the Server Forums.
Jan 12th 2011 11:21AM On behalf of all Magekind...
The rune tax has gone up. 90g a port.
Jan 12th 2011 11:19AM To be fair... she's being strangled by a plant without weapons. She doesn't have much time to think about these things.

Dec 20th 2010 12:39PM Not first pic, fourth.
Not the majority are, it's the majority IS.
The Gilneans that is.
Typos galore. e.e
Dec 20th 2010 12:29PM You forget one important detail.
The majority of Gilneas are made up of bad@$$es.
The Worgen alone are awesome.
They held out against the Worgen while in the middle of a civil war.
They managed to get hte Worgen on their side, that took a lot of effort and courage without a doubt.
Crowley and his fist-cleave-itude.
Ivar Bloodfang and the whole Bloodfang Pack are having loads of fun in Silverpine and Hillsbrad.
See that first pic up there? King Genn Greymane is... how old? And he's swinging one sword at two worgen while shooting a third?
They held out against the Forsaken armies despite just coming out of a famine, civil war, curse, and shattering of the world.
Dec 15th 2010 8:03PM Well maybe in Night Elven culture, using an axe as opposed to a bow and two daggers could be dishonorable, or in Murloc culture one-on-one combat could be dishonorable, or in Gnome culture punting could be dishonorable.

Thank you WoW.com
Dec 14th 2010 11:20AM Excellent post! Only you have forgotten one integral post.
Seriously, that is how I was introduced to Wyrmrest Accord, my current home, I believe that having a good guild to go to will maximize your RP experience because...
1. Events events events!
The majority of events hosted are done via guild, whether they are an exclusive event or a public one, they are a lot of fun.
2. Fun people
If the guild you have decided on joining is good, odds are they will have good attitudes, for example, my first guild on WrA, Scarlet Remnants, are full of joking, fun-loving people, an atmosphere I could definitely get into!
A guild is more likely to help you find RP, figure out problems and build you up than general chat is.
4. There are more reasons
I just cannot think of them.
