Breakfast Topic: What do you want from 5-man content? {WoW}
Nov 14th 2011 8:55AM I want a challenge, that provides appropriate rewards, and not this 'challenge mode' thingy Blizz is introducing in MoP. Probably in the minority here, but oh well. I kinda want the BC era difficulty to come back.
Moonwhile, I also don't want the Zuls to be referred to as "new" dungeons since they are horrible recycled content and are very boring owing to the fact I've done both of them before, except in a different context. ._.
But you know what, I'm not too fussed. If 5 mans are easy, it just means I can gear lots of alts. No big deal!
Breakfast Topic: What's your motivation to perform? {WoW}
Nov 11th 2011 9:04AM I've been an officer of a few guilds - and been a raid leader many times. One of the things that irks me is when raid leaders use the anger approach while I'm trying to keep things positive. It has caused me to quit the game before - more specifically being unable to reconcile my positive approach to raiding with the hard-raging raid leader. Raging raid leaders tend to cause people to quit guilds.
Fortunately, my current raid leader and guild leader usually prefers the humour/analytical approach with positivity thrown in. Sometimes it leads to anger, and while I can understand where the guy is coming from, I always cringe whenever it leads to that.
As a raid leader myself I never resort to anger. I'm playing this game for fun, so is everyone else. There's no need for anger. I won't tolerate people who pay no attention, though. If you're not going to put in any effort, I simply will replace you. But - I'll do it nicely, unlike many other raid leaders.

I am extremely anxious and excited about the imminent release of 4.3... New dungeons... never having to do a full-length troll run again... being able to raid on all my alts without having to herd 9 or 24 cats that are my guildies... new gear, new storyline, and new RAID!!! Probably a new PvP Season... Transmogrification - changing how all my toons look, Void Storage, OH GOD THIS PATCH IS GOING TO BE AMAZING!

You're wrong about Blizzard trying hard to give us all a proper AoE rotation, Holy Wrath is still part of our retribution single target rotation. So in that aspect, we share your pain. Although, unlike you, we're not given a huge choice of melee attacks that Blizzard could merely buff.
